Round Rock folks have all driven by this church 1 million times. It's the "Pumpkin Patch Church". Every fall, they host a pumpkin patch where you can go buy your pumpkins and take pictures in a quaint setting. The thing I didn't know until I started attending was that they give all of the proceeds to the Round Rock Serving Center. And I just think that's beautiful. My family and I are lifelong Christians, but new to the church and to the Episcopal church in general. We started attending this year. I absolutely love it! It is such a welcoming and accepting community. The priests are super sweet and the sermons always beautiful and up lifting. My daughter is a middle schooler and has gotten involved in the youth program. It is incredible. The youth minister and all the kids are super supportive and positive. They have so much fun and also do service to give back to the community. It has really been a highlight of her life this year. She even made the decision to get baptized at the Easter vigil service. If you are looking for a church home, I would definitely recommend stopping in and checking this sweet community out.

They even sold baked goods near the back kitchen. It's a medium-sized fair but there is a good variety of things for those that are really into craft fairs. People seemed friendly and nice. Visited this New Church and, although we prefer a "non traditional" church, this was a bit TOO non…read moretraditional for us. The atmosphere was more like a Cafe than a place of worship...the seating included Bistro type tables and chairs. There was a popcorn machine at the entrance and a refreshment counter to purchase coffee, drinks and baked goods. The sermon was more like a "Conversation", with interaction between the Pastor and the Congregation. Having just moved here the search for a Home Church will continue.

In all fairness St John Vianney Catholic Church administration/office allows the use of the church…read moreparking lot for the nearby distribution of food and other items to the individual families. The real problems on using the church parking lot are; 1) the parking lot gets so full parishioners CANNOT get out safe into the parking spaces 2) the entrance and exits are BLOCKED 3) the lot attendants are mostly IGNORANT, RUDE, NO IDEA because the parking lot is a HUGE mess 4) most IMPORTANTLY they block the Sunrise Road which becomes a BIG safety concern/issue. The parish church MUST have a dialogue with the outlying food community in controlling a safe, correct, and limi the cars safe parking lot capacity. The church members of St John Vianney are open and are willing to help and accommodate everyone safely. This parking lot nonsense are causing a lot of inconvenience, anger, safety and lack of control. Those who has authority, do it RIGHT. May the Lord blesses all. Thank you.
