They are inclusive, welcoming and are in touch with the world. Their outreach to the community by their gracious hosting of events working against the scourge of the present opioid epidemic is welcome. The grounds are always kept neat and clean. One part of their property borders on a local creek and they make all efforts, and succeed at it, to keep the waterway free from any pollutants from their lot and grounds. Very impressive. Their worship facilities are welcoming and warm. It is a pleasure to have them as neighbors. I really like the music at this location. Many talented people meet to praise God and play beautiful music. It really is a fantastic and meaningful experience.

We were looking for something " not sooo huge" ,where you can get lost in the crowd! We saw a sign near our home, about only 5 minutes away! It said "Life Church"! My husband mentioned going there, a few times, so one Sunday in November , 2012... We just showed up...not expecting anything out of the ordinary but just seeing what it was like.... We were greeted kindly at the door and they shook our hands with smiles and genuinely kind faces! Then after walking our way through the door, we were again greeted, but this time, by the assistant Pastor! He had a kind, gentle demeanor and I liked him right away! Next, we were walking through the double doors and we were greeted by another kind person and "welcomed" to their church! We later found out that this person and his wife were also ministers at Life church! They were all as kind as they could be! The service was fulfilling and the music was extraordinarily awesome! After church service was finished, as we were walking out...to our happy surprise, we smelled coffee and we saw people over in the back corner eating doughnuts & drinking coffee! Not just any coffee, either... But "Butter rum toffee" flavored coffee with not just regular cream, but several delicious flavored creams in the mini disposable packages! They were also GIVING away "Free" doughnuts of several kinds and bagels too! It was all free! Was I seeing this correctly??? We!d been going to this huge, huge, well known "super-church" for a few years...where you have to pay 1.00 for each coffee and you pay for other foods in their little cafe too! That church's pastor goes on several big trips each year and they put on a production at Christmas time, but they never have any kind of real Christmas eve or day services! Yet, here we were at this smaller, quaint church and they were "giving" us free coffee and doughnuts too! The sermon made me feel like he was talking directly to me!! We came out feeling revived and peaceful inside! Then to top off a wonderful experience, we won 2 free tickets ($15.00!each!) to a comedy show to be held there a week later! We adore this little church, which is growing weekly! Their Christmas eve candle service was so awesome, that it made us feel fulfilled and wonderful when we left to go home! We are definitely going back again!

My family and I are members at St. Paul's and we love it there, it feels like seeing our family every Sunday. Each of the the 3 Pastors at St. Paul's have their Masters Degree in Theology, so you know that they know their stuff (there are a lot of "Pastors" out there who don't). There are a lot of opportunities to get involved in other things outside of church, especially for families and parents with young kids. They have a Pastor whose sole focus is on Youth Ministry, which is awesome for families with current or future high school/college students. Outside of church, the parochial school is one of the best in the area. Our oldest is in preschool right now and she absolutely loves it. The teachers and staff are amazing, and the school itself is nationally accredited. Each classroom is small enough that each student gets the personal attention you'd want, while having enough students to have rock solid athletics and music programs that can hang with the best in the Livonia area. There's a student tuition discount for the school if you're also members of the church, so if you're "in the market" for both, St. Paul's is an excellent choice. There are also a number of options for financial assistance for families on a budget. Don't think you can't afford it! St. Paul's can work with you to make it work, financially. If you can't tell - We highly recommend St. Paul's!
