There is also a picnic shelter with tables under it, nice hiking trails and a restroom facility. It is very picturesque and touts a bat hibernaculum to beautiful scenery. I would suggest bringing and putting on some bug spray when you visit here. The bugs were feasting on me. The Kettle River is easily accessible from this park. They have a boat launch there that you can set off on your kayak excursion. Robinson Park is an all-season park that offers ice and mixed climbing in the winter and sports climbing and bouldering the other times of year. The park has hiking and some small camp sites that can be reserved that have campfires and picnic tables. There is also some benches that you can sit on that overlook the river. The park does not have a playground area, any green space, basketball or tennis courts, but is still a decent spot. It is a decent park, especially for you adventurous types. It is well off of the beaten path and is a very peaceful spot. It is well maintained and does not get much traffic. I enjoyed my time there and hope to make it back there soon.

We did a combination route along the Quarry Loop and Wolf Creek Trails and it was really great! I like how it also snaked past other trails like Hell's Gate and Deadman Trail, and you could hop off the trail for a bit and explore something else (like checking out the historic sandstone quarry ruins and the waterfall). Walking inside there is a fresh always clean smell. I have stopped here more than I have indicated on a Yelp check in and always found an attendant working inside cleaning one side or the other. There are some great nature views and little trails. I'm sure out of state visitors would be very impressed and rest stops are not all alike try one along I-94 near Jackson, Mi where I thought I was going to be mugged, or an area of Oklahoma where the odor is worth a gag fest!

The first time took a long time but we knew it wasn't their fault because the river was low and that's out of their control. Our tubes were also good. The owner's dad (Jerry?) picked us up and was so nice and sweet. We laughed at all our hiccups along the way. This time around, it was just my friend and I and we were having a wonderful time for the first 2.5-3 hours. Then we realized we weren't moving and the wind was blowing us upstream. We kept trying to go, waiting to see the landing. By the 5 hour mark we kept trying to call Pardun's to mention that we were trying to come back and to let them know that we'd probably be later than expected and to see if they had any tips. Since the cell service is almost non existent, the calls would not go through. By that time, we didn't know what to else to do but call 911. By the time we were able to get a hold of someone to ask for help, we were nearing 6 hours on the river. They called Pardun's to let them know and the owner (Guy?) and his son were waiting to pick us up. As soon as they saw us, the snarky disrespectful remarks started and they began making fun of us. The owner was relentless. It was one rude remark after another. This was at about 9pm. When I started crying and asking him to stop talking to me, the asshole dug in even more and had to get the last word in. It kept on until I screamed at him to shut the F up. I couldn't take it anymore. He then stopped and started trying to kick us off the bus. I was sitting in the seat, sobbing while my friend was nicely asking him to just please go and please stop with the comments. He wouldn't. Once we got back to Danbury, he stopped the bus and walked away. His son helped us get our stuff out and his wife eventually came out to make sure that we had our keys and let us know she had called the other people involved to let them know we were back. The son was initially being kind of a jerk when we got on the bus but he apologized to us soon after. His fucking waste of a human father didn't. Please do not give this man your business. I have never been so humiliated and made to feel as awful as he made me feel. The blatant disrespect and language from the minute he saw was unbelievable. This man is the most awful human I have ever encountered. I sure hope he treats his wife and his mother with a little more compassion and empathy.

The roads are fairly well maintained but, do expect some bumpiness. Follow the driving tour and learn about the area. It is very interesting. We went to see the Sandhill Cranes and were not disappointed. They were a sight to see in large flocks. We will make Crex a regular place to visit.

Automatically, we begin with four stars just because we appreciate the business and opening such a sexually liberating and free environment for people Add 1 star campground in general. It was clean and well maintained. Very rural, but you are in the middle of nowhere and it's a campground not a luxury resort. Plan accordingly. The People: neither or plus or minus sun stars as the people we talk to were very warm and friendly however there was an established community that could be taken as I bit cliquey. We are fairly outgoing, and it felt welcoming, but we could see how if people were more timid Ted they would feel isolated. The vibe: this was probably the most sexually open and inviting environment we have visited. Gay, lesbian, trans, very kink friendly as well as open to lifestyle is a fabulous thing to offer. Much of it, however it isn't as much our thing so it felt a little overwhelming. We would never yuck anyone else's Yum so we wouldn't take a star away, but we also won't add one as it wasn't perfect for our taste. The party: a good time and worth attending, a good DJ with fun music, but definitely catering to the Younger crowd. No plus or minus stars from us as we typically seek out a sexier environment than a heavy party environment. This felt like a better place to meet and bring people back to your trailer type of vibe. Lose one star: we have never been swarmed by mosquitoes like this before and honestly considered leaving right away as we didn't want to get out of the car to set up our tent. thankfully the couple mix to our site set off some sort of a mosquito bomb and it opened a window for us to get out and set up camp. We don't blame the owners for this, but it did take away from some of the freedom We wanted to experience with nudity and sexual vibe.

The campground has the best of both worlds whether you come up during the week, on a non event weekend, or event weekend you can always find something to do! It's peaceful, and beautiful--but it's the people who make it truly special. Everyone is welcoming, respectful, and quick to make you feel like part of the 2c family. There's always something going on--whether it's an event, parade, or just sitting around the fire sharing stories and laughs. And of course, the clothing-optional part makes it easy to relax, be yourself, and enjoy the sunshine without a care. Glen and Stephanie do an amazing job running the business while also maintaining genuine friendships and keeping communication open and honest. That balance is rare, and it's a big part of why this place feels so special. Im writing my experience directly and I hope if you think about visiting you express your personal experiences as well! For me this place has given me great friendships, courage I didn't know I had, wonderful memories, and a true sense of home. If you're looking for a safe, friendly, and fun clothing-optional campground, this is it.
