It's two stories, very tidy, nice staff, multiple meeting rooms, and cool displays of both historical figures and modern entertainment. Outside tables, vending machines, a coffee machine, and a microwave are available right outside of the library for the public to use. Also, there's a book donation bin there that collects used books, DVDs, CDs, and Vinyls every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm which I used for my 2026 New Year cleaning. Overall, a great and diverse public library in the Metairie area!

Once you entered, printing computers are to the right and you log on with your Library ID Card number and PIN. You can upload your files to be printed at anytime on the main library website under the "Wireless Printing" section. Then, when logged in on the library computer, your files will be retrieved for you. FYI - if you have a file with a mix of blk&wht and color pgs...divide them up first as it seems the machine only recognizes one or the other for the entire file. There's no choosing "print preference by page number" option. And the machine will not print without payment first, so bring exact change. Also, any monetary overpayment will be use in your next page printed, "it's not a vending maching," I was told....so bring EXACT change! Hope this helps & happy printing!

It's an airy modern…read morelooking facility with a good size children's section that has plenty of scheduled activities for the little ones. I haven't been there yet for the movie nights. The adult side is roomy with plenty of room to add more shelving when needed. There is a large computer area with Internet access and free wi-fii available throughout the building. There are a pair of study rooms as well as a meeting room. As you suspect for a newly built public building it very handicapped accessible. It is a nice addition to the parish library system.
