Sunday's don't feel complete if I don't make it there for service. Hoboken Grace truly loves and cares for this community. The amount of time and effort they put into preaching the word of Jesus and showing love to others, not just in church, but outside of it, is fantastic and wholesome. I've found forever friends through my dinner group and the community service events we do & I have ultimately found place where I can feel the love of Jesus like never before. My grandparents were married in this church, my husband and I had lived in Hoboken for over a year and thought it would be special to get married in this church. The priest cancelled on us TWO DAYS before our wedding and didn't even call us to give us a reason why. The replacement priest didn't know why so we know it wasn't an emergency or anything. We still have no idea. On top of that the church was supposed to run our wedding rehearsal and they decided the day of not to show up.

However, we wanted to get a sense of what some other churches in Hoboken were like. It really felt that Redeemer Hoboken was a tight-knit community. The Sunday service felt like it was a natural expression of the community life, which was nice to see, instead of it feeling like a well-rehearsed, scripted production. While I thought the song choice and music style was a little dated, the musicianship itself was excellent and I was able to get into the worship time more than I do at most Presbyterian churches. It's always great to see a diversity of churches exist in a particular community and I hope Redeemer Hoboken continues to flourish.

Very family oriented and there is a separate location for children's ministries. Parking is never a problem there and the people there are extremely friendly.
