This time I use my daughters words!!!…read more I went on a tour to see Manor College and I must say I felt like I was welcomed. Manor college in my eyes was very warm welcoming and the environment was very peaceful. Some key parts I loved were there were only 3 buildings compared to 8-9 buildings like other colleges. Another key point was how religious and family oriented it was. Manor is very serious when it comes to not only their students but also their religion and even the Baby Blues. Next was parking. As a transfer student, I had to pay for parking and even a parking pass; not at Manor you don't, it's free. Lastly the tuition for everything was $26,000 and that includes dorm, meal plan and books!!!

This junior college is a terrible first experience and i would not recommend it to anyone, I stayed…read morein the dormitory for my first semester of my freshman year and did not want to continue anymore. The dorms are filled with roaches and stink bugs, there is no air conditioning in the building, the walls are paper thin, and the lack of action done from the assistant director of residence life is disgusting. The microwave in my dorm was broken for 2 months and was not fixed, there are students that moved into the dorms and immediately saw hundreds of roaches. The only solution she had was to exterminate the room and not switch there dorms even though there were other dorm rooms available. The girls bathroom is disgusting, Pads and Tampons left in the disposable bag holder. The entire hallway stinks due to the trash chute being full all the time, and there was an incident where someone threw human feces down the chute and no one was disciplined. The internet in the dormitory is terrible and the only solution they can give is going to the library that closes at 8 PM every weekday and it isn't open on weekends. The washer and dryers are extremely slow and they charge you every single cycle, most times it takes around 3-4 dry cycles to actually dry your clothes. I would not recommend this college to anyone, It is not worth the money or the time.

5-star learning experience with Nick!…read more I'm 27 years ago and have always been super anxious about driving so I never actually learned how to. I'm glad I found Nick and the Pennsylvania Driving School. I passed the road test on my first try with Nick's help! He is really patient, understanding, and supportive. He taught me how to not only pass the test but also know how to drive safely and confidently in the long run. He'd pick me up on time for every lesson, go over the car dashboard controls, let me practice driving especially right/left turns, and explain what to do in certain scenarios. He has a foolproof method for parallel parking that I was able to understand and succeed at right away. I took the test with him as well and I'm glad I did. He picked me up at 6:30 in the morning and drove me to the test site to practice on the exact routes that the test would be on. I finished everything and got my driver's license at 9am! I never thought this day would come but I'm proud of myself for overcoming my driving anxiety. Thank you Nick a million times for your awesome instructions and for giving me the freedom to go out there on my own and explore!

Pennsylvania Driving School offers the cheapest driving lessons per hour that's why I chose them…read more Dave is a nice guy, funny and quite patient. I feel like he's condescending at times, but I wanted to learn so I suck it up. I took 3 lessons with them and I still feel like I can barely drive. Lesson 1 - Dave picked me up and asked if I know any empty parking lots near me. He spent 1 hr 30mins just telling me where are the 12 blind spots on the car, the controls in the car and explaining the details of the RECEIPT!!! 30mins driving around and around a parking lot. Lesson 2 - Dave picked me up and finally found a better parking lot. Spent 30mins going through everything he told me on the first lesson. 30mins driving around the parking lot. 50mins finally driving on the road! Lesson 3 - Dave picked me up and took 30mins to find a good place to practice (back to the same parking lot). Spent 30 mins in the parking lot trying some angle parking. 1hr on the road. No parallel parking just because there's snow on the curb. After 3 lessons (6 hrs) I expect to know more about driving and parking. I feel that there's a lot of wasted time on my dime.

Don't let the little "house on a prairie" look fool you!…read moreWhen I first got a tour with Jess and Nancy, they made me feel very comfortable and reassured me that anything I do with my son at home can be accommodated. I made it very clear to them that he is on a keto/Paleo life style and he eats a lot to organic fruits and veggies, I was reassured that it will be no issues, (conveniently yesterday talking to Jess, she had no memory of our tour Convo). Anyway, everyday at baby room, my son had poop leak thru his diaper, all his onsies had poop stains, I bought so many each time, I got tired of it, let's not forget the rash, since he sat with poop in his butt too long and leaked, it burned his skin, and you could even see the mark of the poop in the rash on his skin. All his clothes, stain with food, food leftovers between the fingers, inside his nose nostrils, dry crusty snot all around his nose, bruises on his head from him falling, but we ng about the size of a quarter (was said he fell on toy, he fell on chair...) Ok! ‍ (teacher is very nice, but seemed too much for her or maybe lazy) I did complain via email but the poop continued. Then he was moved to the 17 month old rool at 15M since the baby room got full (took to many kids $$) Now in this room, that's when it got to me, especially after I had surgery 8/2 and talked to Jess about me not being able to lift my son and his father will be doing that (once again yesterday she denied and had no "memory" of that) it was few more times with the poop, which once more I complained and it stopped, my 15m old.limes his pacifier, teacher refused to give him, they have an app to communicate, teacher responds 2-3 days later and sometimes doesn't. (I have screen shots) I sent 2 types of fruit to be given as snack and one after last lunch, she gave them after breakfast (which breakfast had it own fruit already in the container) and one at lunch and sometimes they came back full they boy loves fruit, go figure The father dropped him off in the AM late few times so it wasn't much time for breakfast and we asked for him to be fed. I spoke to the teacher and Jess (and once again, she didn't have any memory of this conversation with me either) how unprofessional! What else can you claim when you lie and deny! I explained to Jess that his father gets off work at 7am, by the time he gets home it's 7:30 and he can't make it by 8, I also told her it's until I get a clearance from the doctor around Sept 15 (don't forget, she doesn't remember) so again, I was reassured it was ok, I also explained the teacher is very the phone and she pretty much didn't give a damn, said they had no one to stay with him extra 10, so mind you, my son hungry until snack. While his father picks him up, he noticed that our son is extremely hungry and especially thirsty, he spoke to the teacher about the food, and asked her does he eat it all, is it on the floor, she said "he loves to eat and he is actually her best behaved child in the room and we have no worries. Then I spoke to her about being extremely thirsty, she said " I leave at 3pm, I don't know what happens in late care after I leave, but in my class he gets water all the time, and she said she will let Jess know, because it's not her place to say anything to the late care teachers. I got an email from Jess the opposite of what I spoke to the day before with the teacher. The father asked to speak to the director 3 times, never heard from her, I reached out to Jess via email and her respond to me was (email) the director Nancy only to be reached when its a severe situation, what? That's not severe? We were denied to talk to her. If a parent cannot talk to the director about their child that a big problem, clearly I want someone above Jess and Jess refuses to allow us or maybe Nancy doesn't want too, THAT SAYS A LOT ABOUT THE PLACE! There were more little concerns but I'll keep it brief. for several weeks I had a uncomfortable gut feeling about the care of my child, PARENT! FOLLOW YOUR GUT FEELING, DONT WAIT LIKE I DID! $1409.00 A month cash is a lot of money for unprofessional denying every escuse in the book child care BS. I gave Jess a notice he will not continue next year, and after a phone Convo with Jess yesterday, about he was given to him father with a diaper full of poop, and I told her don't let me think you guys retaliating against my son, her response was "no one knows you leaving" , I decided not to send him back, do to safety and retaliation concern. What kind of answer is that? " No one knows you leaving" that's a red flag.

When I brought this to the attention of Syndney- his teacher, and the other staff, Sydney walked over and stated "Hadn't noticed those marks, I'm going to get a incident report." I asked the entire room of staff and teachers, including Sydney "What could have possibly taken place for my son's face to look like this?" Everyone was silent. When Sydney brought over the incident report it had a description of what had taken place. I then continued to ask questions, and her answer was "I don't know." I am very heartbroken that this incident has taken place and no one claims to know what happened. No one took the time to contact me or at least try to notify me regarding the very apparent bruises on his face. For this to be a childcare facility that claims to put the welfare and safety of the children first, this incident is being handled poorly. I feel that my concerns are being brushed under the rug and the incident is being covered up. I am highly disappointed in Syndney's attitude and blatant lack of care and concern for my child. Due to this nonchalant response by Jenkintown Day Nursery, CCIS and other necessary offices may need to be contacted so they can assess this center's ability to properly monitor the children in it's care.
