This time I use my daughters words!!! I went on a tour to see Manor College and I must say I felt like I was welcomed. Manor college in my eyes was very warm welcoming and the environment was very peaceful. Some key parts I loved were there were only 3 buildings compared to 8-9 buildings like other colleges. Another key point was how religious and family oriented it was. Manor is very serious when it comes to not only their students but also their religion and even the Baby Blues. Next was parking. As a transfer student, I had to pay for parking and even a parking pass; not at Manor you don't, it's free. Lastly the tuition for everything was $26,000 and that includes dorm, meal plan and books!!! read more

This junior college is a terrible first experience and i would not recommend it to anyone, I stayed in the dormitory for my first semester of my freshman year and did not want to continue anymore. The dorms are filled with roaches and stink bugs, there is no air conditioning in the building, the walls are paper thin, and the lack of action done from the assistant director of residence life is disgusting. The microwave in my dorm was broken for 2 months and was not fixed, there are students that moved into the dorms and immediately saw hundreds of roaches. The only solution she had was to exterminate the room and not switch there dorms even though there were other dorm rooms available. The girls bathroom is disgusting, Pads and Tampons left in the disposable bag holder. The entire hallway stinks due to the trash chute being full all the time, and there was an incident where someone threw human feces down the chute and no one was disciplined. The internet in the dormitory is terrible and the only solution they can give is going to the library that closes at 8 PM every weekday and it isn't open on weekends. The washer and dryers are extremely slow and they charge you every single cycle, most times it takes around 3-4 dry cycles to actually dry your clothes. if i could give zero stars, i would. This college is racist, disgusting, and a huge waste of money. They have had multiple roach infestations even prior to anyone living in the dorm and didn't switch the students room. There have been many incidents and the students of color involved, whether the victim or not, always get penalized while the white students don't. There was an incident where a white student went in a POC students room and touched their stuff without their permission and the white student still continues to go there while the POC student was made to leave immediately. This is a horrible school and not worth the money. The staff doesn't care for the POC students and Shameika is very rude and unprofessional when dealing with student altercations. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at Manor College. The beautiful campus hosts the bright eyed individuals seeking to further their education and the dedicated faculty and staff do their best to provide an excellent experience for all students. The small class sizes foster strong connections in and out of the classroom, and almost everyone gets to know you by name. One would think that a relatively small school wouldn't be able to pull in talented professors and bright students, but all of my professors during my time here have many experiences and are amazing at what they do. The campus life office is dedicated to everything that happens outside of the classroom, and they have so many events for students, some of which I have been directly involved with, and you can tell that everyone deeply cares about what they do here. Manor is going to grow exponentially in the future, with a fantastic new President in Jonathan Peri, a man with a vision so great and connections so deep that Manor will most likely become not just the premier two year catholic college, but one of the premier four year catholic colleges. If you want a quality education delivered by some of the best professors I've ever met on a beautiful campus in a suburban area, look no further than Manor College. I am attending La Salle University starting from the FA-16 semester, and thanks to the dual admissions agreement, 100% of my credits transferred over. I also received a sweet scholarship based on my GPA, which I wouldn't have realized if it wasn't for the great transfer department. To those who read the negative reviews posted about Manor, I offer you this piece of advice; No one can help you with your problems if you don't verbalize them. You need to communicate and get involved around campus, otherwise how will anyone be able to hear you? The staff is dedicated to making your experience at Manor College great, but they cannot do anything for you if you don't even talk to them. read more

I think Manor College is great school. I was a student at a local Philadelphia Community College before Manor, and there's a HUGE difference. Manor is nothing like a Community College. It's a smaller campus, so everyone knows each other. It's a very family orientated, because of the smaller size of the campus. That helps because the Professors and staff actually care about you. The Professors here are very knowledgable about the subject they teach while being in tune about other things outside of College. That gives you more to talk about, and definitely grows relationships. Definitely a great two year College to attend if you don't want to attend a regular Community College. read more

Not a good school at all! Beware! They say that all your credits will transfer over when you're switching schools, but in actuality, maybe about 50% of them do. The rest, well....you're gonna have to retake those classes again. The dorm rooms are very improperly maintained and are just dirty....there isn't enough lysol in the world to scour those rooms with. The teachers are shoddy at best, with half of them being so beyond snobby you don't even want to attend classes. The drama that goes on very much noticed by the administration is ridiculous. Students torment other students to the point of fists and fights but everyone looks the other way. The dorms are just one giant std filled orgy, with so and so banging so and so's boyfriend or girlfriend and their roommates. The cafeteria food is good....but the state of the kitchen makes you lose your appetite quickly. The security staff is actually very nice, especially when you're new, but other than that....they don't do much else. You'd be better off going to community college. Don't go here! read more

Don't even think about it! Seriously just don't do it. I can't speak for the dorms as I never stayed there but as for everything else... HORRIBLE!!!! The food is mediocre. When I attended most students either lived off of the vending machines, brought their lunches or ran out to grab something. Occasionally they'd have something that was ok but it's really hit or miss. All the credits do not transfer so unless your not going to advance after finishing there your better off NOT even chancing it. I agree that the teachers are snobby and also mediocre at best. It's as if all the left over teachers that couldn't get jobs elsewhere were all hired here. There are a few exceptions. I did have a good teacher or two but for the most part HORRIBLE. They have had NUMEROUS complaints about certain teachers (well at least one that I'm thinking about now and he teaches biology) and this school does NOTHING. Not acceptable at all.
