I've only heard wonderful stories about this home. This is where I'd like to live out my elderly years, if I'm blessed to live that long.

I would highly recommend staying far away from this facility. My 87-year old mother lived there for…read morethe past year, until July when she fell in her bathroom and broke her hip. She fell at 2am on a Sunday. The facility is supposed to check on their residents by 9 am. No one checked on my mother that day at all. Infuriating. I talk with mother usually every Sunday so when I didn't hear back from her by Monday morning, I called Crestview to do a wellness check. Tori said she went to check on mom and said that mom was just tired but okay. So it took me calling to get them to check on her. Turns out that later in the day, another gal named Lisa, found my mom at 3pm still lying on the bathroom floor, in pain. She called 911 and my mom was taken to the hospital - after lying on the floor for 37 hours. So much for good care. We found a new place for mom and when I went to clean our mom's apt at Crestview last week, the director Christina asked to speak to me. She denied that we had left her any voice messages and said she didn't receive any - from myself, my aunt and also mom's social worker. Christina insisted we give a written 30-day notice and that mom has to pay for September rent despite her move being involuntary, as she can no longer live independently. I asked Christina if there was any way we could reach an agreement since we are not a litigious family, but she was unwilling to budge at all. OH, P.S. The State of Missouri is now investigating them for the elder abuse.

Wonderful place! Bright and cheery. Very pleasant activities, including exercise class. My mom has…read morebeen here for three and a half years. Great staff and housekeepers and maintenance. We have used a few services that you pay for such as Senior Helpers when she had a wound that needed daily tending and that was very helpful and reassuring. Also the on-site salon for haircuts and pedicures is convenient. One huge downside to caution about is that meals are not served at all on Sunday nights. This has been burdensome for our family and other residents have grumbled about this repeatedly. They get used to not cooking and then there is no meal and families are not always able to help. So then it's cold leftovers or PBJ. But that is the only down side, other than that, it's a wonderful place and we would recommend it!

My mom lived at Creve Coeur Assisted Living and Memory Care for her last 3 months. Previously she…read morehad lived in her own home. From the time she moved in, the atmosphere was positive. Through her initial adjustment period, she gave the staff a challenge. The well trained staff knew how to gain the trust and acceptance of a reluctant resident. Through the staff's kindness, responsiveness, and patience my mom came to love each of her caretakers and her new home. From the resident aides, to the nurses, to the kitchen staff, to the business office, to the housekeeping, maintenance, and activity staff, I never heard a harsh word or any negativity. There was a genuine desire to help my mom be as comfortable and safe as possible in her new home. As my mom's condition declined, the staff was able to handle the additional care. The meals are served with respect in a beautiful dining room. There are alternate food choices if the resident would prefer. There are special dinners that the residents get excited over. The activités are varied and interesting. I wish my mom would could have taken advantage of more of them. While she could, she loved bingo and morning fitness. Creve Coeur Assisted Living is like a real home. Residents can welcome family and guests like they would to their home in the past. The community rooms are inviting and the outside spaces offer the opportunity to enjoy beautiful weather. I am so happy with the decision to move my mom to Creve Coeur Assisted Living. It made her last months safe, and gave me the peace of mind I needed as she could no longer live alone.

For the one week that she was there, multiple trips by family members were made daily to assist her, a minimum of 3 hours each day. Witnessed staff sitting in their cars in the parking lot apparently getting high for extended periods of time. No response from administration after multiple outreach attempts made when it was clear they could not provide the care that was needed. After hospital transfer, mom went to a facility that was a higher level of care. This Facility looks nice but that's it. Awful experience at a very vulnerable time!
