Since August 6, 2024, I have been reaching out to Yes Installation for help with replacing a…read morecamera. I received inconsistent responses until September 4, 2024, when I had to repeatedly call and text. Eventually, their Denver office dismissed me, claiming they no longer service my camera system, despite having replaced the cameras just three months prior. They even texted me that my camera system would be available soon. Now, they say they have no cameras because my system is "too old," even though it's a brand new Lorex system installed in 2023. After a month of inquiries, I received a sarcastic comment from the person responsible for ordering cameras, stating that they no longer service such old models. Why provide me with misleading information for an entire month? How can you claim not to service them when you just did three months ago? I strongly advise against doing business with them; you will only encounter frustration. I have text message evidence of our communication and wish I could have recorded our phone call, as it was both disrespectful and unprofessional.

This…read moremeans I have had the opportunity to work with Brian on numerous occasions over the years as we have upgraded and tweaked my system. My residential setup includes URC Total Control home automation, which incorporates a 130+ device Lutron lighting system, numerous video sources(Rokus, Chromecasts, and DVD players) across 5 televisions, as well as multiple audio streaming sources (Autonomics and Sonos) across 11 audio zones. Brian not only has the expertise and experience you need for a complex home automation install, he brings an incredible work-ethic to the table as well. On more than one occasion he has gone above and beyond my expectations to fine tune my system and ensure I am satisfied with his work. I highly recommend Brian and his team for any home automation, video, audio or security project. No matter the size of your project, rest assured you are getting the "A team" with Yes installation.

So, short version: I started this journey in June. A tech came out and installed the system wrong…read more I was then told that he was not an official representative. Then another guy came out about a week later and fixed that. Then told me the amount of equipment we discussed at the beginning was over $500 and I told him I was not told that. That was finally fixed. I should have taken these encounters as a sign from God not to continue and cancel then. I've had a problem with my equipment for a few weeks now and it has been an absolute struggle to try to get someone out to fix it. I've spoken to two reps over the phone and both said "yeah, we can get them out soon and these are the dates and I'll set that right up"....yada-yada. Well, just chatted with an agent to see when a technician will come out this week, as discussed with the second representative yesterday. And this happened (see pictures). I really thought the representative I spoke to yesterday really wanted to help us. I just don't understand why things are this way. I don't get it. Do they truly not care at all about the customer? I would have canceled my services yesterday, but the contract you signed is for over $2000 and you are locked into that until it is all paid off. Buyer beware. I regret signing up with company. The customer service is very Dr Jekyl-Mr Hyde. If you're looking for a great alarm company, go with Front Point. I never realized how good I had it then. I'll be back Front Point, just might take me awhile to pay off the contract debt.

They charged me over 250 dollars this year for equipment I wasn't using, that they promised they would send and never did. Scam artists. I'd set up wire and cans around my house before I ever consider using Vivint again.
