Honestly the BEST down to earth movers I've used in my 5 yrs of being here in the Atlanta area. Quick and Easy. It took less then a hour (the whole process) and all of my stuff was placed in the house. I called a Friday and was booked for Sunday. Every other place gave me 3-5 days. I'm happy I called. The initial was great they were professional and fast and wrapped the furniture to ensure minimal damage as advertised. BUTTTTT then there came money I was very detailed in what was being moved and quoted a price by the end of the move the owner decided that he wanted to charge more and when I tried to ask him why he told me I could not ask him no questions became extremely disrespectful and upcharged me by $400 as he decided he wanted to charge and additional $50 per hr then what I was previously quoted. I was baffled the customer service was TERRIBLE at the end... i was surprised because intitially they were amazing. read more

HANG UP YOUR PHONE AND KEEP LOOKING!!!! S and S "Professional Movers" are a joke. I had a scheduled move with them and the day of the move they BAILED on me. My fiancée and I waited on the day of the move to no avail. After awhile I called and spoke to "Stacy" who claimed that he called twice during the week to confirm my move. Well, after reviewing an email I rec'd from Kevin Wilson (the "owner") I realized that Mr. Stacy a/k/a "MAD MAN" had apparently written an incorrect contact number for me. Upon realized that was the issue Stacy stated that he would be to my (one bedroom) apartment to handle to move by 11:00 a.m. Upon arriving, I met the movers outside of my apartments in order to lead them upstairs where my fiancée and I had already packed and disassembled the bedroom furniture. Mr. Unprofessional, noticed that I came from the third floor of my building and then insisted that I told him that I leaved on the second floor.....(SERIOUSLY!!!). I attempted to explained that he was mistaken and that was NEVER the case but he continued his RANT like a spoiled child and stated that the 3rd floor is a three man job and the cost would be a $105/per hr. as opposed to the $85/per hour I had been quoted, which was also in the email confirmation I had rec'd. Regardless, Mr. Unprofessional jumped right back in the rusty truck he showed up in and he and his side kick abruptly departed without fulfilling the job. SMH! read more

I was given a quote over the phone for moving and when I went to follow up and schedule, the rep added approximately $100 of additional fees even though I was very clear about the specifics of my move in the first call. Over the course of the second call, the math changed so much that my instinct told me to choose another mover, at which point the rep tried to convince me they were the cheapest (untrue even at their first quote) and got pretty rude about it all. I called S&S after another service bailed on me on the same day of my move (thankfully, because they were the worst!) These gentlemen were very professional, extremely compassionate about my earlier moving experience, and advised me although they were fully scheduled they would fit me in after their last move. As promised, they called me back when they were done, and even informed me of their expected arrival time. Once there, they were ready to work, and did so for about four hours straight. Even after discovering my heavy couch couldn't fit into the elevator, and they had to carry it up three flights of stairs - I didn't hear them complain once. (although I'm sure they weren't happy). They still handled themselves accordingly. In short, these guys were the best! I would highly recommend them, and would use them for moving anything! Call them! read more

I used S & S after the movers I typically use were unavailable and I needed to move the next day. This was by far the WORST moving experience I've had. They advertised $65 per hour but charged $105 per hour. Three men arrived later than the scheduled time, they were out of wrapping materials but didn't inform me until AFTER the time clock had already began and actually asked if I could go buy some. Literally everything was packed and broken down in my home prior to their arrival. I moved 4.2 miles away and What has always taken 3 hours to have professionally moved took 5 (4 hours of actual moving and one additional hour because the time went over 2 mins into the next hour) because they literally carried one item/box/sofa cushions at a time. Making it worst, they made an "assembly line" and passed the items to one another dragging the time out. They did NOT have any paper work to complete prior to the move, there was not an inventory taken to show prior damages etc, only a receipt after paying. Nothing about this company is professional. They move VERY SLOW on purpose in order to drag the time out, talked on the phone while moving and OVERCHARGE drastically. $500 later ($492 to be exact) and I still have to wrap my own items because they did not. I would not recommend this company. read more
