The temple was very flexible in terms of working with us to set up prior to the wedding. We had a multi-racial wedding and my husband's family and our non-Indian friends were never made to feel uncomfortable at the temple. Rescheduling a wedding can be a mess as you can imagine but Shailja made the process very smooth for us and was one of our easiest vendors to work with. The temple made for an affordable and beautiful location for a wedding; we had a beautiful baraat before the wedding and there are grassy areas around the temple for pictures.

The ceremony started promptly on time, and finished by 4pm. The timing was spot one for all the different poojas that were conducted. After the ceremonies, we were able to go into the main temple room and offer our prayer and get blessings from the swamai's. It was beautiful, and a day well spent celebrating 2 lives coming together for happy ever after.

We really…read moreenjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and there always seems to be some function or celebration happening. I also love seeing all the different idols around the temple. Having a young daughter, it gives us a chance to talk to her about our Gods, festivals and traditions and keep her connected to our culture. We almost never leave without eating at the cafeteria. It's always clean, food is fresh and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. My daughter is happy as long as she gets her dosa and idli, my parents love their Mysore masala dosa, and I usually stick with my medu vada and coffee. Everyone already knows what they want before we even get there lol. They have a gift shop too with a lot of idols, clothes for deities, puja items and other things for your home mandir. There is plenty of parking and the bathrooms have always been clean whenever we've visited. One thing I really wish they would add is a small playground for kids. We see so many families with children here, and I think it would be a great addition. Overall, we just enjoy coming here. We pray, walk around the temple, our daughter gets to learn something about our culture, we eat, and head home happy. Simple family time that we look forward to every month.

I've been a member for roughly about 18 years now and will continue to support this temple. At times where I was lost, I have found guidance here. The moments of despair where things might have felt like it was the worst, this is where I sought refuge and found hope. So many values, morals, and ideals have been instilled within my character due to my experiences here; I can and will never forsake my temple. Having being grown and reared by my fellow church members, this temple has shaped a portion of who I am. So many things it has given me, and it asks for nothing in return but complete and selfless devotion in whichever way I could. Whether it be through the medium of music or simply just opening my mouth and joining in simple hymns, there is no requirement or limitations on prayer. A simple reminder, service is usually held on Sunday mornings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and major Hindu holidays are usually observed. God does not discriminate and materializes himself/herself in many different forms and ways.
