Sri Seshu Puranam is the founder priest of the temple. Had a great experience visiting this place. The place is always filled with activities and home like temple. Ample free parking in front of the temple. The idol of Hanumanji is so serene and divine. The temple is beautiful in a nice neighborhood. The temple door was open and as I entered I saw Hanumanji's idol and I felt so blessed. There is a flower shop next to the temple, so you can buy pooja related items from there (cash only). There is also a Indian vegetarian restaurant named Amma Kitchen in the same plaza. Tuesdays and Saturdays are very important for this temple and are busy days where 100's of devotees visit. Tuesday Bhajan and Mahaprasadam distribution are highlighting events. Would recommend all to visit Tuesday around 6:30 PM, enjoy attending Abhishekam, Arati, Bhajan and Mahaprasadam. I would definitely go back for any of their special events and occasions or if I am in the area.

It's not very big, but the temple itself is quite beautiful in the inside. He can speak English. I'm not sure if we have a English translation of the chanting book. The regulars who come here to learn about becoming a Buddhist are also nice (most of them, anyways). Before entering the temple, make sure to put your palms together and bow halfway. If you don't know what to do or how you're suppose to do things, just ask someone. They will help you out. The service takes about 3 hours, and afterwards, they will feed you lunch (it's all vegetarian food.. No meat). There are also end of the month picnics (get together to enjoy the Fall weather; looking at the beautiful colors of the leaves of the trees that changed from green to red/orange/yellow). I enjoyed going to those picnics, because we go hiking together, sing and play games (and win some prizes). So if you're looking for a place to learn about becoming a Buddhist, then give this place a try. Who knows, you'll probably make some friends and enjoy yourself! They welcome all kinds of people from young to old and different ethnicities, too. I hope you come and visit.

So it was unsettling that they have a sign welcoming people to see their beauty but look at us like we were criminals. I ignored him and made sure to check this out nevertheless. I love trying out new places.. but churches for some reason.. not so much and this is my reason…read more I'm going to say my honest opinion towards this church. So last Sunday, April 24, 2016, I usually go to church with my sister, Angela S and her husband, Ray S. But that Sunday I couldn't... and so.... I wanted to try out the church right around the corner where I live. I entered the church and the scenery really reminded me of the double doors to Titanic (the movie). I heard talking coming from another set of double doors and talking coming from downstairs (stairs going down on the right side). I saw a bowl of candy and immediately I heard in my spirit say to me "don't take candy from strangers" which was weird because aren't church people the one and the same as you as a believer? So that really made me question about this place. It was like stepping into a time machine when I pulled open the doors. There weren't many people at this church. So I came a bit early and Benjamin (leading Bible Study) was talking about the history of the Bible, I think. There was a projection screen and pictures on it. I wasn't really paying attention. I noticed that there weren't any instruments anywhere. I kept thinking "where do they play their instruments for the worship service?" SUNDAYS 9 AM - Bible Study 10 AM - Worship 6 PM - Worship TUESDAY (04/26) 10:30 AM - Ladies Bible Study WEDNESDAY (04/27) 7:30 PM - Bible Study It would have been helpful if there was a pamphlet about the history of this church but there were none. Worship started at 10 AM and I saw that people were coming in. Not a whole lot like you see in the mega churches. Everyone seemed to know everyone which was a good thing, I guess. So friendly and nice. I was sitting on the pews that read on the side of it "visitors". I sat at the waaaaaaaay back. I met with several people who seemed to be regulars at this church. Very nice people.. but my spirit felt uneasy and uncomfortable. Not suppose to feel that way, especially in the house of God. Something about this place really made me want to run out of that place and I didn't know why? I met Pastor Kerry (hopefully that's how you spell it) and his wife, Melody. I felt like these people weren't normal. I felt like they were faking everything. But I shouldn't make assumptions because these people are also Children of God. I asked the Holy Spirit if this was normal and I felt in my spirit that something about this place gave me the creeps! After service, I met with Laura. She's a regular at this church. She told me a small testimony about her life and how she came to the US when she was fourteen years old. I spoke to her about my experiences with demons and she told me her experiences as well. I was glad to know that there were some people who aren't embarrassed or afraid to talk about these things. We started to talk about visions and dreams. She believes that all dreams come from demons and she made it sound like we don't get visions and dreams from the Lord. But I kept trying to tell her that the Father loves to share wonderful things with his children. But she continued to cut me off.. saying it's not and stuff. So I just thought I'd pray for her. I met with Melody. I was originally suppose to talk to her right after service but I wanted to speak with Laura. I guess her spiritual level isn't high enough to reach Father. Everyone is at a different spiritual level with the Father, I believe. Melody asked me if I wanted to meet with her to Bible study just the two of us. I was like sure.. but then, later, she texted me and asked me if it was alright if she brought along her husband and other people.. not comfortable with that so I declined. I know you (as a believer) should meet with other Christians.. but something about these people just make me go ------- "AHHHHHH!!!!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE???" ***Note: During worship, there are no instruments and they have this really old hymn book with a lot of sleepy songs in it. I really felt like I was living in the past! Benjamin seemed to be the lead person who begins to sing the hymns and leads Bible Study... just weirded me out, I guess, because I'm used to people praising and worshiping God by raising our hands up in the air and singing up beat worship songs! Also, I asked if there was any way I could just come to the church and serve.. and they gave me the weirdest impression ever! What's wrong with serving at a church with so few people in it? They should've said "OF COURSE" but nope.. none of that.. just like a "no" kind of look. Not friendly at all type of attitude. So yea.. not coming to this church. Also, they talk about things that I already know.. how come they're not talking about how we are living in the end times? They do talk about repentance which is always a plus... but other than that. No, no, no! Not the church for me.
