He was busy with other jobs, but walked me through bypassing the float switch so I could pump out the water! He called less than 2 hours later saying he was just a couple minutes away if I wanted him to come (that was nice planning on his part given his busy schedule since this 'should' be a quick job). Shawn and his helper arrived, replaced the pump and were finished in 17 minutes. Very satisfied with the level of service, professionalism, tools on hand to complete the job. Received the bill and it was incorrectly billed for 1.5 hours (I guess they round up to 1 hour minimum from 17 minutes). The cost of the pump they installed was within 1 dollar of what I found online, so that was good. The cost for the labor (one hour billed) was $200. Pricey, but I am pleased that the work was completed correctly and quickly. Given that they arrived quickly on a weekend, staffed with professionals, and doing the job right the first time...that equals quality plumbing service...at a price.
