This is just what Leigh needs - a modern coffee shop yet with traditional welcoming values. They have a great selection of coffees, as well as other hot and cold drinks, and they sell a great range of homemade cakes and cookies. There are also free papers should you just want to sit back and relax with a nice drink. I tend to have high standards but they really seem to know their stuff, and the coffee was one of the best I have had in ages. The premises seemed really clean and everything had that nice sparkle to it. Their prices are probably the average price for coffee in Leigh. Whilst they seem to cater for everyone they are really welcoming of babies and buggies even though it is not the biggest of premises, and we really got the feeling we were being valued as a customer and not just being wanted for our money. The man behind the counter was friendly, attentive, spoke to us and our babies, and even helped us with getting our buggies out of the door. They also provide a baby changing room to the side of the counter. The only downside is it is small with no highchairs (that I saw anyway) so I can imagine it being a bit of a cosy squeeze should it be crowded but I would much rather visit here and get delicious food and drink with great service but be a little short of room, rather than visit the Terracotta Tearooms down the road where they have the space but not the service.

Prices are reasonable but I only had the latte.
