Once you have docked your boat, and arrived. You walk down the pier to the entrance. There is a man standing at the bar entrance. He will check everyone entering to make sure that nothing is brought into the bar. No vapes or beverages are allowed in. Women have to open up their purses and then are allowed in. The only entry to Blarney's Island is by boat or a boat shuttle. The shuttle costs $15 per person, children 12 & under are free if accompanied by an adult. I think this is expensive to be able to attend this bar. So $15 to get there and then an expensive beverage. I didn't realize they served food there. I saw a sign for peanuts and popcorn. I saw a menu on a table but was never offered one. I obtained a drink from the bar and then sat down at a high top table on a stool. Yesterday they had a good band. We were there for about 1 hour. This would be a nice place to take someone from out of town, but prepare to spend some $$$$.
