As much as I was enticed to go and see what this store had to offer via it's window displays, I decided that perhaps one visit would be my last. Not only was I never greeted by two women, who were visibly the only people in the store and who weren't really speaking to each other; they never once asked if they could help me or anything. Not sure if this store is run by Americans or people from another country... I am a big shopper, love novel stores (and have been to many in my travels abroad and across the nation and state); love to support small and local businesses. Unless the Owner(s) make an effort to smooth this really unpleasant experience over, than I'll just take my business elsewhere.

The girls working seemed very attentive and helpful at first but after asking a few questions they were very condescending in their actions and choice of words. My friend asked about their return policy and a girl behind the counter took a chug of her drink, looked up, and pointed at a sign behind her saying "All Sales are Final" as if we inconvenienced her by asking what should be a fairly common question. But how dare we bother her while she's working and not just know to look at the sign behind her, my bad. I also asked a different employee if they offered delivery and she was new so she referred to what seemed to be the owner/manager, who was kind of rude about it and proceeded to tell me they assemble the pieces in store for customers, which is a courtesy they don't have to provide. She told me if I was willing to pay Mor Furniture a delivery and assembly fee, I could just pay $40 and rent a Uhaul to pick up the furniture I wanted from her store. As someone whose worked in customer service for many years, this just isn't how you treat people or attract business. I was looking forward to shopping at Reedley Trading Post and was referred by many family members and friends, but was disappointed by their customer service. All in all, the furniture in store seems poor quality and tacky, and isn't worth being treated poorly while shopping. I love to shop local, but in this case I'd rather go to a corporation where employees are paid commission and at least have a reason to provide good service.
