Great gallery. Fun part is it changes out each month so always something new. Pottery and sculpture also. Especially good to go on Kennett first Fridays. It's located in the American Legion Arts Center building that lately seemed to turn into an Arts oriented building. Kennett Symphony, Robert C. Jackson (artist), Peter Willard (artist), RustyNelson.com (photographer) and more as of now. Many times they are open door for a visit on First Friday's. Also heard there are some type of children's art classes at the Square Pear. read more

Exhibits are curated based on a monthly theme, so there is always something new to discover. In addition to paintings, Square Pear Gallery also has a great selection of pottery and jewelry. We also offer Children's art classes for K-5th grade students.

Meet the Business Owner: Corien S.

Corien Siepelinga is the gallery owner. An artist and formerly an ICU nurse, she took on the challenge of gallery ownership in January 2018. She loves art of all kinds and features an array of work by area artists in her gallery, such as oil paintings, watercolor paintings, pastel art, sculpture, pottery, and jewelry. She wanted a place where people can come and enjoy the art and appreciate what artists spend their time making, she wants them to feel inspired, to see something new or something familiar in a new way.
