Another beautiful piece of architecture in Paris. This place kinda reminds me of the Baha'i Temple that I saw and visited during my trip to Chicago a few years ago. But, walking up to get the Square Louise Michel church was a like mini hike up a flight of stairs. You could also walk along a pathway and I think there was a mini cable car (something like that) to bring you up and down too to the church. I remembered that during the walk up...the area smelled pretty bad (possibly a urine smell)! When I finally got up to the top, near the church the area was pretty littered with papers, etc. So it was a bit dirty. Sadly, that's why I had to give a low yelp rating.
NOTE: I remember that before walking towards Square Louise Michel church, there are a few souvenir shops in the area that sold stuff at cheap prices! Always be sure to recheck if the item you brought is in your bag, because someone from our tour group almost got jibbed (i.e. the cashier/shop owner would replace the item you brought for junk!) read more
