I also went to Toronto and NYC several times for haircuts (tried HK and Japanese salons) but Dianne is by far the best! I have natural wavy hair but wave in a not-so-good way. My hair is thick and heavy which makes it very hard to style and to look good. All the stylists I met in the past suggested me to straighten it (which I don't want to cause it's costly and may look fake) but Dianne was the only one that didn't ask me to do so. She follows the hair flow when styling it and the end results just looked great every time. I also challenged her by straighten the top half of the hair and curl the bottom half and the result was again, perfect! It looked natural and healthy (compared to the one time in Taiwan which gave me a obvious line between straight part and wavy part). Overall, I highly recommend Dianne, especially for haircut and styling! (She also does nails but I haven't tried it.) TIP: book her at least two weeks in advance (especially for longer sessions like coloring, curling and straightening) as she is so popular!

Most places can only do two of the three and that's frustrating as hell. I grew up in NYC so finding a good barbershop was easy. Not in buff though. I did find one place, johnny the barber out in Williamsville, but it's way too far a drive for me. Then I saw this place on yelp, saw the high ratings, and thought wth... why not, all the other places have murdered my hair, what's another place. I walked in not expecting much but man, was I satisfied. I had my appointment with Nate and he did a great job. He kept asking questions about how I wanted my hair and did it exactly how I described it. The pictures don't do it justice (since I'm trying to selfie the angles and horrible lighting) but this is the first time in a long time that I didn't have to fix the cut myself after I got home. The atmosphere there is chill too. Nate kept the conversation going and the women stylists were down to earth. It seems like they tailor to all walks of life from businessmen to college kids to families. Would recommend this place to any one looking for a fresh cut the way they want it.
