We love Swig and since we can't get it in CA, we always try to find one when we are traveling…read more This location didn't disappoint. We ordered a 44oz Guava Have It and a 44oz Cherry Bomb. Both were delicious. The employees were friendly. The location is kinda random and hard to get out of due to the traffic. It doesn't look like you can go in here. It appeared to be an empty building inside from what we saw in the drive thru.

Oh my God, one and done…read more Swig doesn't allow you to go into the store and this is a drive-through location only (and kind of a too-jammed-up site as well). This was our first--and last--visit. I made a mobile order ahead of time, thinking that might facilitate things. WRONG. Got to Swig ten minutes later to find cars wrapped around the building. But they move pretty quickly, right? WRONG again. They had a kid out with his little flip menu taking orders, one excruciating car at a time. I finally got to the kid, told him I had a mobile order, and drove on to the window. At the window I was inexplicably asked to pull into a parking spot in front of the store, where we got to watch employees dashing around in the store, dropping stuff and literally ricocheting off each other. I'm serious. At least that was entertaining while we watched car after car (that made in-line orders) get served and roll on through while we sat. And sat. Without exaggeration, our order (three sodas, pretzel bites, and mini cookies) took nearly 45 minutes. I'm pretty sure they forgot us. And remember: you. cannot. go. inside. So there we sat, watching the show. When our stuff was finally brought out to us, I handed out the drinks and the pretzel bites.......no cookies . At this point we could only laugh. And YOU CAN'T GO INSIDE TO FIX IT. I was going to just spin around through the drive-through and ask for the damn stupid cookies, but yet again, there were cars around the building, and after 3/4 of an hour we were so done. Swig got our cookie money but they lost customers, not just because of the wait time fiasco (this is SODA ffs), but because to top it all off the sodas were awful. This isn't sour grapes or having to wait too long. They were grotty. If you like sugar on top of your sugar, and paying $30 for it, this is your jam. These drinks were so incredibly sweet they were inedible. There was no nuance or flavor profile...the menu made them sound so good, but the reality is you just taste genuinely epic (and not in a good way) amounts of sweetness. It all blends together--until it doesn't. Even with all the ice they aren't appealing. Five minutes later all the drinks had separated with clear liquid on the bottoms of the cups. Just...yuck. I can see 13-year-old kids swooning for this stuff, but if you have any sort of an adult palate whatsoever...you've been warned.

When in Victoria Texas had to stop by Twin Liquors. This…read morestore is very large. You walk in and it looks a bit like a wine cellar. The service here is average. It's a small town liquor store with people working. I walked in waiting for someone to greet me, and then of course I asked about allocated liquor. Sadly the only had Blantons. This store is so large that they have a classroom. I came I saw left.

I've shopped here several times and have never been antagonized but helpful by yr employees. I ran into a very interesting young man (& sadly lost his name) with incredible lg rings in his ears (I can't describe it any other way-very handsome) and very very helpful. After purchasing my amounts, I then went outside to wait for my ride to return. I waited and waited and waited despite the heat staying outside as I thought my ride was returning soon. It didn't. But this young man, kept a constant eye on me to make certain I was ok, even to bringing me a bottle of ice cold water, and then, when my ride finally returned, he was there to help me into the van with my purchases. I cannot say enough about the courtesy and care that his young man gave to me. Which means, that your store is really doing something right. And as long as I live in Victoria, I will always shop here, although it may not be large purchases, but they are consistent. And as a side note, I'm a native Californian and your display of Californian wines really takes my breath away. I'm so very thrilled to see some many historic bottles of the vintages I grew up with. Thank you and a very large thank you to that wonderful and caring young man. He is a total winner! Sue Kubecka; 361 798-0560
