Park Dental has an excellent team of Hygenists that work seamlessly with the Dentists. However , due to all the growth at this office I have run into two administrative problems that are deeply concerning. I recently asked for a quote on how much a procedure would cost and how much Delta Dental would cover. It took forever to get the quote and Delta Dental was confused about the planned work. The plan was not clear. Additionally they had a lot billing issues and this was finally corrected. Because you don't pay until you are billed.The second issue is that over the past 4 to 6 months the staff that work the front desk have gone from providing the best service I have found Anywhere in Any Business and where now a level of service that is best described as I don't give a damn. We are overwhelmed every day , every appoinment is maxed out and if your new crown fell out , we will let you know when you can come in! We are busy, I am busy get in the queue and quit bothering me. A Dentist owned Practice would never allow this disrespect. They cherish customers as life long assets. Park Dental is not a Dentist owned practice. It is a flawed healthcare model due to admin failures . Focus on the customer and these problems will disappear. In fairness to the admin staff they can not treat the customers any better than they are treated and compensated. Dentists and Hygienists create revenue. Admin staff do not. Mike Graff

They make kiddos feel at ease and will do everything in their power to make the experience a pleasant one so the next time they're able to do just a tad bit more than the time before. Kids earn tokens from the hygienist and dentist for allowing them to do what they ask (within reason) and then they can spend the token in the lobby on a toy from the toy machines. They also get a dentist goody bag as well at the end of the visit including the normal toothbrush, paste, & floss.

They have a movie to help distract the kids and explain and show everything they are going to do before they do it. The only thing I questioned a little was putting the cleaner head on my kids hand and then in his mouth. I thought she would swap out the cleaner, but not so. I had a poor experience at this dentist 6 months ago, where the hygienist, Jessica, told me that a…read moreprocedure would be covered by my insurance, but it was not. I asked for a different hygienist last time, but when I came in on 2/5, it was the same hygienist, Jessica, that came out to get me. After a couple if minutes of her using the scaling tool, she punctured my upper right gum so hard that I flinched and was bleeding significantly. She asked if it was the mirror that hurt me and I told her no, that she had poked me with the scaling tool, she said "oh". She continued the descaling while slipping more times around the same tooth, while I flinched again, and she said "that tooth must be sensitive". When she moved to the lower left of my mouth, she slipped again and punctured my lower right gum and that is when I got up and told her I was done. I took off the bib and started to walk out, all she said was "I will take the glasses too". I went to the front desk and told her that I was poked too many times and had blood all over in my mouth and that I would need to reschedule. She could tell I was upset and said to have me call to reschedule. A few hours later someone from the office called to ask what happened. I explained what I wrote above and all she said was that some people have more sensitive mouths that others and that they could use numbing cream next time. I said this was not an issue I had ever experienced before and I believe it is an issue with the hygienist, not my mouth. This is when she explained that Jessica typically does water descaling, not the tool she used on me. They offered to schedule me with another hygienist the following week, but I told them I would be looking for a new dentist. Today, I got a claim report that they submitted to be paid for my cleaning, that was clearly a terrible experience, and not complete. I called the office and they feel that since Jessica got through some of the cleaning (she claims all of it, which is untrue) that they can submit the claim. I am shocked that a business would run this was and that they do not value their customers.
