We even emailed them and told them we didn't want one. When they measured for the countertops, they told me the contractor said we wanted the backsplash. NOT true at all! The contractor is my brother and he said the only thing he said to them was "hi". Seems as if they are trying to sell you more but do less work. Fingers are crossed nothing happens to the counters, because I would hate to deal with Granite Works again.
