Ok so here's the deal. I have used a few different pdr guys and I like him the best. He is definitely a true pro but in addition he's very honest and that's a huge plus in my book. I took him my car that was backed into right on the hood seem. This is a very difficult spot as it's on the fold and you can't get behind it like a normal quarter panel or whatever. I've been in the auto industry since 2002. I've delivered over 5,000 vehicles to my clients. I remember the first time I saw a PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) guy repair a car for me. These guys are magicians! No way to tell where the dent was! Today, I needed a PDR job on a trade in. I have been going here for a number of years to get the dents fixed on my various cars, and the work has been good, but strangely enough I had a not so good encounter lately. I wanted to get a dent repaired, and called Matt the owner. He quoted me $200 which is quite high for a dent repair. I asked if he'd do me a favor and do it for $75 this time around since I am unemployed and after all these years and the business I have been giving him I heard a "no". Believe the reviews! Sometimes when a vendor has a bunch of 5 star reviews it is hard to meet the high expectations. Matt Sprouse definitely deserves his stars.. I have a new Tesla Model S that had a crease dent above the passenger wheel. Matt was willing to give a reasonable range over the phone and when I dropped it off in person he confirmed the price within the range. I hate telling people the work is for a Tesla because they immediately feel like they can hike up the price! Matt gave an estimate based on the work not how he felt he could "get me" for. Work was done quickly and right. Can't see a thing.. Also Matt is an owner / operator and that makes a big difference. You speak with him on the phone, he gives the estimate, he does the work and he provides the customer service. Trust me its very different than a regular body shop where who knows is doing the work and certainly noone cares about customer service. So, I could tell by the previous reviews that Matt was good. What I didn't know was how good. I got a nasty, sharp dent in the rear quarter panel of my new Mercedes wagon. I was distraught. I shot a picture of the damage to Matt. Because the dent was in a difficult to reach spot, Matt asked if I could bring the car to him and leave it for a couple of hours. I did just that, and when I returned Mcar looked perfect. I couldn't see or feel any evidence of the dent. I thought for sure there would be a scratch or crease or some evidence of the dent. Matt is a great example of why I love Yelp so much. He operates his business from home, and does very little marketing (if any at all). Without Yelp, I never would have found him. Yet he is truly a diamond in the rough. Some idiot dinged my car in the parking lot. Left no note, which is par for the course (I guess). They dented the body of the car right around/above the tire. I sent pictures to several "Paintless Dent Repair" businesses, and got one estimate from a local body shop. The body shop quoted me $1200 (and 4-5 days), and out of all the PDRs I contacted, Matt was the only one who was willing to give it a shot. Nobody else thought they could repair it (because of its location). I dropped my car off at Matt's house the next day. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and talented at his craft. I got the call that he was done, within an hour or 2 after dropping it off. I had no idea what to expect. I was so relieved when I saw the results. I would say he was able to get about 90% of the dent out, saving me about a thousand bucks. Matt is truly the man. For quite a while, was on the lookout for a Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) shop until I came across Matt through Yelp. Whilst initially I had my own reservations about PDR having no experience with the procedure however, was quite impressed with all of Matts 5 star ratings that came with it. Flashback a few weeks ago, unfortunately my Honda CRV got a small ding in a sardine can-like parking lot inside a mall and the culprit just did not care less. Which prompted me today to drive all the way from LA to Matts home/shop in Woodland Hills for the necessary repair job. My brand new Mustang got a horrible dent/ding about the size of a quarter on the top rear fender. I found Matt on Yelp and called him.
