The most popular restaurant in Kirchzarten for a reason.
They have a varied menu, with everything from fish to pasta. Don't worry, they also have plenty of schnitzels and sausages as well... this is a German restaurant, after all!
The service can get a bit backed up when the place is packed, but everyone is friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is very social, and the food itself is quite excellent and reasonably priced. My girlfriend had ravioli with ricotta and lemon that she claimed was some of the best she'd ever had, and I had a damn fine fried catfish with an inexplicable amount of buttered noodles.
To put a nice finish on your meal, everyone gets a shot of cherry liquor with their bill, which basically tastes like alcoholic candy. Like pisco sours in Peru, but infinitely more drinkable. read more
