Unfortunately for me, they didn't work, so that meant I needed to replace all of my 6 sprinkler valves, which were 35+ years old. The system was constructed with copper on the inlet side and pvc on the outlet side. This required digging a hole about 2 feet deep 4 feet long and 2 feet wide to get access to the pvc. He had to reconstruct part of the wood sprinkler box as it had rotted out a he also needed to increase the height to accommodate the taller rainbird PGA valves. I can't recommend him highly enough. He personally does all of the work, so it can take a little time to fit you into his schedule, but it's worth the wait. He was very fair in his pricing.

His worker showed up, replaced a small plastic piece I have replaced prior in 10 minutes and charged me $300. I felt that was excessive and told him that. I was told it's not the time, it's the knowledge. I felt taken advantage of because he could get away with it. I considered paying him $200 and letting him fight me for it, but I didn't feel right doing that. We had no written scope of work and fee. I suggest getting your work quoted before you agree to the work or he'll gouge you.
