In January 2022 Eric the owner of this company came out and did an estimate for my landscaping. I have a medium size backyard (3600 sq ft) and was having general yard cleaning, a sprinkler system and sod installed. I was told that they could begin in late February or the first week in March and finish before Masters. They finished at the end of May. IT TOOK THEM FOUR MONTHS TO DO 7 DAYS OF WORK! The owner Eric and I had already agreed to additional landscaping and sod in the front yard. That was supposed to be done in June, then July, then by the end of the summer. In October I was told by Eric that it would be best if I waited for the sod until March of 2023. They could put the sod down in the fall (of 2022) but it might not make it and that would be on me. AFTER WAITING FIVE MONTHS I WAS TOLD THAT I SHOULD WAIT AN ADDITIONAL SIX MONTHS! HORRIBLE COMMUNICATIONS! I would email, text or call and leave messages. Even after Eric and I had a conversation specifically about this issue, multiple times HE WOULDN'T RESPOND FOR WEEKS OR EVEN A MONTH OR MORE! All along I was being told that the delays were due to lack of employees or materials. I was trying to be flexible with the timeline but was just being taken advantage of. The final straw was when the owner Eric told me that he was having problems keeping up with a new residential housing development that he recently got the contract for. So, HE GOT A NEW JOB AND LEFT ME HANGING, even thought we had been discussing this since January. Finally, this February (2023) I noticed that there were several large patches of dirt where the sod had been laid. I called Eric to see if he would replace the sod. I explained that I was only talking about the dirt areas where the sod had clearly died. He said that he would definitely call me back with a time that he would stop by to look at it. It has been 2 weeks and no contact what so ever. No surprise there. I regret the day I even heard of this company. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

I spoke with Jordan (again from the office) and she informed me that Monday the 23 would be the latest but she may make it by Friday. Needless to say I didn't receive it. I called on the 26th and asked about it and again Jordan said it will be soon but, "her designs are a lot more time consuming and cannot be rushed. Considering our contractor's designs and the holiday season, she is backed up in that department." From my perspective, their designer must be challenged with time management and the communication from the company to the customer could use some work. I waited until near the end of today (January 3) and called again. I spoke with Jordan and there was no reason just having to wait. I said you do not need to wait any longer as I will not consider your quote. I asked to speak with someone there and was told (paraphrasing) "I don't think I should be giving you any additional information. Have a nice day. goodbye." I was and continue to be unemotional. I wanted to pass on my experience and speak with them, Instead, I ended up writing another google review. There field workers may be great. The finished product may be great. However, I already know their communication is challenging. Their time management is questionable. When You are about to spend what I consider to be a large amount of money, I want better odds. For anyone re4adin this, how will this company get better if they do not get the opportunity to see what they put their potential customers through, Perhaps Jordan is one of the owners. I had prior satisfactory experience with the Rock Creek group and they were my first call. Their quote for the work was a bit salty, but I had faith that the quality of workmanship of this company would be well worth the cost. What I got was a spectacular final product. They knew how to tweak my plan, after consultation with me, to best fit the surrounding landscape. They did a fantastic job in keeping with my grading plan. They were very careful to not damage my existing lawn with their many front-end loader trips, the crew worked diligently, and despite a language barrier, were interested in hearing my minor concerns during the entire process.
