She said our estimates are not free, then said our estimates are not free they consist of 'parts and labor'. I said you mean like an estimate? Female proceeded tell me to F____ off and hung up on me. It was a waste of time and if you want this person who I spoke with representing your company - do not change a thing. Very, very bad installation, faulty sprinkler heads used, other parts omitted. Required replacement after much damage done to plants that were denied water from faulty heads. Misrepresentation, unfair and may be incompetent. I have filed a complaint with Oregon Landscape Board. Not worthy of a one star, but I had to chose a star in order to submit this. I made an appointment for a service call to fix a leak in my drip line. They gave me a 10 o'clock time but did not show up until 2 o'clock. The service person located the leak and because a tree root was involved he said it wouldn't do any good to fix it and wanted me to put in a whole new line. I told him to go ahead with the repair. When he completed the repair he asked me if I wanted him to put the dirt back in the hole and rake the river rock back in place. Sorry that was just dumb. Why would I want him to leave a big mess. He also replaced two filters in the system. The entire time he was here was a hour and 45 minutes. They charge $150 an hour and an additional $125 because a root was involved. The entire bill with parts was over $500 for an hour and 45 minutes work. I just don't think this guy has a PHD in sprinkler repair. I would not recommend them to anyone. Their service person was extremely rude, their work ethic is questionable, and they are very over priced. read more

8/31 sprinkler pro came out gave us a quote and we accept the quote and arrange for them to come out on 10/8-2021 @ 8-9 am at 10am both my wife and my self tried to call and not able to leave voicemails finally at 11:00am got a hold of them and asked what is going on after a long discussion with the Christine we ask to get it rescheduled for Tuesday at 8 am. 15 minutes later they called back to state that the are "dumping us and are not going to do work. Made an appointment for complete replacement of all valves, repair of drip lines, soaker hoses, etc. for a two acre parcel. The morning of the scheduled appointment, I received a call from the person coming out to do the repairs. He explained that he was only scheduled to be here for two hours & that it was only him to complete all of the work. He also stated that he was scheduled for two more service calls after mine. I called Kirsten, whom I had scheduled the appointment with, to see what could be done. She was snotty and rude, stated that she wouldn't even have the repair person come by to give a bid without charging for a service call. I asked for the owners' name and when Kirsten asked if I wanted him to call me, I replied in the affirmative. I have yet to receive a call... Too bad there isn't an option for zero stars. read more

Mediocre at best. Our neighbor had work done by them and raved about them. So we used them to convert our yard to maintenance free - decorative rock, flagstone, large pavers, artificial turf. REALLY screwed up the artificial turf. To Duane's credit, he rebated half of the re-installation done by Turf-N-Oregon (if you want artificial turf done RIGHT, call them). Found out later, they didn't lay the plastic weed barrier in an area where they said they would. Patio grouting bubbled up after two weeks and needs to be redone (I'm getting someone else to do it).Had to constantly watch and hound them to follow and fulfill the line items on the contract. What that rude witch did was cancel the second appointment she made and when I tried to reason with Christin she hung up on me then blocked my number! If she told you otherwise.....she is not only rude but a liar! I deal with Ewing and it was my option to contact them to find a professional. In your phony response, Traci.....I certainly do understand that things can go beyond what is expected time wise. Why couldn't the tech call me or the office, Christin to say they couldn't get here and schedule a new appointment? I totally would have understood and appreciated the call! Terrible service. Charged $135 for 1st visit but was unable to complete the job. Came back in two days $65 more. Sprinkles still didn't work properly so they came back and wanted to charge me another $135; I told them to just leave. I gave one star because no way to leave less. read more

The only reason they don't get a complete 1 star is that they didn't charge us. I ordered a sprinkler inspection for some clients. Gave the guy a week's notice. On the phone I was told that they would come out...inspect all of the sprinklers. Check out that the system was working well and adjust anything that needed to be adjusted. And explain to the new owners where everything was. Cost would be $95. I gave him a 5 hour window to arrive in and do the inspection whem we would be there. Any time between 9 and 1. The buyers were driving in from out of town for the inspections, and they all needed to be completed in this one day. The morning of the inspection I texted to make sure he was coming. 2 hours after we arrived, he finally responded. It seemed like he had forgotten about the appointment. But part of the reason I use text messaging is that it give a written record of what was agreed to, so when he responded he could tell that he had screwed up. Over several contacts later finally got him to agree to get out there at about 3:30. 2 and a half hours after the latest of the agreed upon time. So at 4:30 when he finally did arrive...basically screwing up a full 5 hours of my day, no one was too happy with him. Then the service he said he would do was rushed and not at all as described. Basically he turned on the system...looked and said Yeah there's water coming out and moved on. We asked about the drip lines which we wanted to see if they were all working, and basically were told the plants looked alive so they must be. So as I said...he did not charge my clients for the lack of service...which is why the only negative review I am leaving is here. If he would have charged for that...the storm of bad publicity that would have been unleashed would have been epic. In some ways I am almost sorry that he didn't charge. It might have been fun. I will give him the benefit of the doubt of making a mistake. Doing the most he could do to try to make it right. But overall I could not say I am happy with the service. With the amount of my time that was wasted I'm pretty sure he owes me a big check. read more

I'm very happy with the service from Sprinkler Pros. I called on Thursday and had a call back and an appt for the following day. The tech arrived on time, found the ruptured faucet and had it fixed within 20 mins. He also made sure the rest of the system was operating correctly and fixed 2 other sprinkler heads that weren't working properly. Johan was cheerful, energetic and friendly. We are relatively new to Grants Pass. After settling in to our new home, we took a look at our back yard and front drive and thought how in the world are we going to fix this! All of the adjusting on the inside of the house left the outside somewhat neglected. I had made several calls to various vendors and received only one call back... Sprinkler Pros. Within three days we had Duane, the owner of Sprinkler Pros on our property for a quote... and two weeks later it was done! Our project I am sure was not the most complex but it DID involve a lot of weeds and shrub pulling, drip drainage installation, a rock wall, bark.... LOTS of bark and a good amount of crushed rock. Duane's crew was FANTASTIC! They were hard working, never blinked an eye at a last minute request and were done by the promised two weeks leaving behind a transformed back yard that we could not be happier with! Sprinkler pros replaced a valve in our backyard, charged us $115 and left without checking to see if it was fixed. I assumed it was repaired and called them again for a leak in the front yard. This time I was charged $215. I was told it was because another workmen was there so the work could be completed faster. In the meantime we had a filter put on our well, because we were told dirty water was the problem. I was told if there was a problem, they would come back without charging to flush any dirt out. Finally, the weather was hot enough that we turned on the sprinkler system and it still leaked in front and none of the drip lines worked in the back. The one that wouldn't shut off still wouldn't shut off. When I called Sprinkler pros to explain, I was told that the repairman would come out but would have to charge a $90 service fee. When I questioned the $215 charge in front for a new valve, I was told the workman was honest and the problem was ours because of dirty water. We got a recommendation for another honest company who did extensive work and our system now works beautifully! They said our sprinklers never would have worked for 28 years if we had dirty well water. read more

I have a two zones that are fed of the same main that have low pressure. I make an appointment and the service tech showed up on time and was very nice and seen knowledgeable about basic sprinkler system operation... But he seemed to lack sound troubleshooting skills when it came to this specific problem.. He seemed to run around in circles trying to fix the issue. I had to suggest several times what he should be looking at. When we called to complain about the price of the invoice all the person would do is discount it 10%. I would never use them again! read more

I'm sorry that the other reviews were non favorable due to some issues but I had nothing of the sort. I called because I had an exhisting sprinkler system that although was working the controller was not set correctly and became very frustrating, to say the least. I called about noon on a Friday, and the gentleman showed up by 12:30. He explained where my issue was, showed me how to set it up and having some knowledge (although not enough) I understood what I had done wrong. He was pleasant, as was the woman I spoke with on the phone. I would ABSOLUTELY call them again if I had an issue. I notice these reviews that weren't favorable were 2 and 3 years ago. Everyone is entitled to a bad day and time to work out any kinks. read more

Started out strong with Duane and his crew. After a couple false starts, finally got Duane's attention and his crew designed and installed our irrigation and garden. Since installation it's been impossible to get Sprinkler Pro's to follow up and help repair the initial installation,and in fact they did not even return my wife's phone calls. We also feel they overcharged us in the spirit of "caveat emptor" we think they were charging us what they felt they could get away with. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND doing business with these folks - they do not stand behind their work - much of the work just very average. Kirsten, the person who answers the phone, is "snotty and rude", and marginally competent at best to even pass along messages. Previous calls with workers in the field en route to our property indicate they are not told about the job prior to arrival. So I guess I would like to know what this woman, Kirsten, actually does - except anger actual and potential customers. Very, very amateurish operation. read more
