We just had our garage built this August 2024, and the pad between the house and garage is not…read moresquare. As they did not complete the removal of the fence, as they said they would. The garage floor is not level, and the garage door didn't reach the pad. Their attempt to "correct" the issue, hasn't corrected anything as water still comes in and sits at the base of the garage door and along the wooden footings. This will end up causing more issues as the water will freeze and the garage door will not be able to open and over time will rot the wood. I have tried numerous times to reach out to they with my concerns, and they are no longer responding to my communications. The garage has been taking over 3 months, to complete, and in that time there are cracks and they are getting bigger. The caulking they placed along the house and the pad, is cracked and pulling away. When explaining what we wanted, which was a channel between the house and the garage, we were told, yes we can do that for you. Instead, we have the water heading straight to the house. The parking pad that they replaced goes towards the house and now water sits against the house which is causing the stucco to crack. When brought to their attention they said that's normal and driveways always slope towards the house. Which doesn't make sense as you want water to go away from the house not towards it.
