The first time, they reprogrammed the system, but the problem returned less than a week later. When I called, I was told the technician had misinformed me about a free follow‑up and that the system wasn't originally installed by them. I was advised to replace the system, which I did. On July 28th, they came again because the new system stopped responding to the devices. The technician said I would be charged because the door was in manual mode. When I called the office for clarification, the operator transferred me to a supervisor who spoke to me in a condescending manner and told me to "shut my mouth" while I was explaining the situation. He ignored my questions and used unrelated examples instead of addressing the issue. This level of service and communication is unprofessional and unacceptable.,

Initially we received quotes from three companies. Ecoline was chosen based on customer reviews and customer service. To receive a free quote for services, an appointment can be booked online. Afterwards, a customer service representative will contact you to confirm the appointment. The communication is very good and they follow up with an email confirmation. We have worked with three different salesmen who were friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to answer questions and provide suggestions to best suit our home and budget. They can also provide information on financing through Manitoba Hydro. A second appointment was booked to acquire measurements and we were given an estimate for delivery and installation. Communication was kept while we were waiting for installation by text/email. Once the window was ready, we were given an appointment date within a week. The staff arrived on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up upon completion. One window had a small gap in the seal and the window was promptly removed and replaced. We have no issues with the quality and service of our items. We have had no need for warranty/aftercare, but do not foresee any issue based on previous communications and service. Our first windows were installed more than 5 years ago and the most recent one in October 2023. We have noticed an improvement in how warm or cool our house is kept through the improvement process. We have 2 more windows and 1 door to replace and will be using Ecoline in the future.

They manufacture their SuperCORE windows right here in Winnipeg, MB and it's obvious they have been created for extreme nothern weather. My house if extremely quiet (huge difference compared to my old windows) and there's no more draft. I wanted a custom look and design and they nailed it. They were excellent to deal with from the beginning right up until the end. They clearly care about their customers. Very happy with my experience and highly recommend to anyone looking for actual quality windows that are made for our extreme weather.

We refused to pay the balance until this was corrected by Hi-Tech. instead of correcting the error; Hi-Tech's response was to place a lien on our house instead of correcting this. We are now headed to court. Sorry cannot recommend using Hi-Tech.

Those are the facts, what was most disappointing is the the owner decided to recreate his own narrative and and wasnt interested in making his customer happy when i suggested that they go back and do what i asked at no further charge...put the blame on the customer and wanted nothing to do with making things right... Saying sorry means absolutely nothing unless your willing to go above and beyond , whether its giving a discount or canceling a charge etc... oh and what made it even better is that they charged me $178 and when i asked for a discount Lexx replied that she already gave a discount but when i picked up my invoice it showed full charges...so she tried to deceive me as this transaction was done over the phone....I was very angry about this... dustin the service guy thought i should just accept him being late as "it's just part of the industry" ...Lexx dropped the ball in not asking the proper questions in taking the order and then trying to deceive me but Don the owner was the most unprofessional as he had no interest in understanding or acknowledging the bad experience i had, and threatened to take me to the credit bureau if i did a charge back on my credit card...which is exactly what i did.... He clearly pushed the idea upon me that i am just one customer and since he's been doing this for 30 years that he would be fine if walked away ...well that maybe so but i will fill up all the noted review sites with this experience...everything i said is the truth and i will not use these guys again...hopefully they can improve in the future.
