Tv blocked by pole while sitting at the desk

Double check the name of your hotel before booking. I found a spring hill lake buna vista with 3 pools and slides etc...i didn't realize their where so many locations with the same name(west.south etc....) The bad... Parking is 26 a night..our first night my wife came back at 930pm and there was no parking she dropped my daughter off that has special needs..my wife asked where should she park. The front desk said at one of the neighboring hotels...so my wife had to walk back by her self from 2 hotels away... 26 bucks a night a spot should be guaranteed at our hotel.. Issue 2 the hallways are really hot we stayed in room s540 the ac must be broken in the hallways.. also Everytime we went to the pool the pool towels where empty. The rv in the room was in the weirdest spot. If your on the far bed you can't see the tv. If you sit at the desk. A pole is right in front of the tv.. Breakfast was great. And had a lot of room and tables. Close to SeaWorld and restaurants

I spent the weekend here while attending a retreat, the location is perfect to go to all of the area theme parks. Breakfast is included, it's the standard powder eggs, choice of turkey or pork sausage, a variety of breads and pastries including gluten free! You could also have oatmeal, yogurt, dry cereals or make your own Mickey waffles! The coffee was good. Breakfast was served from 6:30-9:30 daily. There was a large game room space as well as a gym, pool and guest laundry. There was a bar that served food starting at 4pm, we ate there once, I had a chicken wrap which was very good I had my choice of regular or sweet potato fries (I chose the sweet potato fries). The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. My only negative would be TV location was awkward, it was hard to watch from the bed. The bathroom was nicely decorated with large shower that had toiletries in it. I will say I would rather they had a solid door opposed to the frosted glass since the light shone through. The conference space was nicely and large. Overall a good visit, walls are a bit thin but manageable! There is a $28 a night parking fee that is paid to a third party via mobile app.

Came here for my birthday weekend last weekend. We decided to drive over Thursday night. The room was really nice, I was surprised by the branded furniture and bathroom setup, which was something you usually see in a high-end hotel. There was some stains here and there, but nothing that I would ding a hotel over. The next day we transferred over to king suite and that was excellent! Pretty much an apartment complete with plates and silverware, fridge, dishwasher, etc. The king beds were super comfy, even though the view was ugly at the room haha. The room was close to the stairs too so it was easy to leave the hotel. The staff was super friendly at the hotel during our entire stay and they have complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste as well in case you forget one like I did. I'm not the kind of person who eats free breakfast at hotels and it's not a make or break for me, but I did try the breakfast here and it was delicious, eggs, sausage, potatoes, and more. The coffee was good too. Plenty of plugs in the hotels. I appreciate that as a remote worker. I fully recommend this hotel! Close to the theme parks and a good time!

New hotel that I would stay in again for sure. Everything was emmaculate again it is fairly new so everything is in great shape and clean. The lobby and the hotel and it's entirety has a modern feel to it. Our hotel room was very nice I had a king size bed and a sofa bed from West Elm. The bathroom was very spacious and modern. The only thing I didn't like were the showers because when you would open the shower door water will go outside and drip all over the floor (I would hate to have that in my house). Aside from that we did try out the gym which is fully stocked with everything you need for a complete workout all the machines are new and there are lots of options. There's also an arcade with lots of cool games and and you could even win prices and redeem your points. There is a pool in the middle of the hotel that has a beach entryway for kids with palm tree sprinklers, super cute. Breakfast was complimentary and I was shocked at the good selections available. There was a hot buffet that had the usual scrambled eggs ham, potatoes. Then they had hot oatmeal muffins fruits fresh coffee and more. All of this was complimentary and best part was the layout and the cleanliness of the food and dining area. Customer service was great everyone was super friendly and helpful but a big shout out will go to the bartender in the main bar I think her name was Migdalia, she was absolutely amazing not only was she nice Serena's but she went out of her way to get us hot tea late night. I would definitely come back to this hotel without a doubts it was centrally located to the theme parks and had great food options in the area.

I stayed in this hotel for four nights during my Orlando vacation with my wife. I would have given this hotel 5 stars, but I am taking one out because of the front desk lady who gave me that obnoxious look when I told her, "My room number is S221. I forgot my key in the room. Would you please give me a new one?" I hated that and I did confront her right away. She made some nonsense excuse and did not apologize at all. Also, there is a front desk guy who you can barely hear what he is even saying. For God's sake, please speak up buddy! Okay! enough of those front desk clowns, the hotel itself deserves 5 stars. Here are some pros: - Spacious room. Comfy bed. - Excellent restroom. Paul Mitchell amenities. - Nice pool. Only 5 feet deep though which I don't mind. - Free complimentary breakfast. - Free shuttle to Disney Theme Parks, Universal Studios, and Sea-World...PLEASE take advantage of it and save some of that Uber expenses. - Free parking. - Nice bar. - You have to walk like maybe a mile or so to get to a plaza where they have a bunch of restaurants. Overall, I loved this hotel and definitely recommend it to anyone!

Nice, new, modern, and clean hotel located close to restaurants and Disney theme parks. Here's the low down! Pros: -Bedding was comfortable. -Pool & lobby bar ;) -Well located; close to Disney Springs, Disney theme parks, restaurants, and I-4. -Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo & Conditioner, Paul Mitchell Lemon Sage body wash, bar soap, and lotion!! -Complimentary breakfast that was quite tasty!Good amount of variety and quality was decent! -Heated pool, playroom, and small marketplace. -Friendly, attentive staff! From the front desk, to the bar lobby, to the breakfast area attendants everyone was polite and helpful, with a smile and a greeting -Hotel restaurant with pizza, quesadillas, wings, etc. Cons: -While the pool was advertised as heated, my family and I found it too cold to use... so I don't know how well that heater is working... -Room is not really a separate 2-room suite but rather one large room that includes a living room space. -Room is awkwardly configured. The t.v. is at an awkward angle to the beds. It is placed in between the "bedroom area" and the "living room" area, and you can angle it in different directions... I guess so you can see it from either the living room side or the bedroom side, but NEVER from both at the same time. Weird... -I HATED the bathroom door! It is located right in front of the beds and it was not a solid door but a fogged glass door. While very pretty, it was absolutely awful if you have someone using the bathroom during the night while others are trying to sleep! The lighting was sooooooo bright and lit the entire room! Very bad- bathroom doors need to be solid material to keep the light in the bathroom. -Also, bathroom door is a sliding door and there is a defect where you can peer into the space between the wall and the door and have a completely clear view of the person in the shower... A plus for some maybe, lol- not so much if you want privacy while you shower! I stuffed towels in the cracks while I showered. Overall, I would stay here again- IF the price was right. The room layout was just weird, and if I book a suite I expect the living room area to be a separate room, and that was a big downside for me. Springhill Suites will need to keep their pricing competitive to bring me back.

Very handy when you want to stop by a cafe or restaurant that's nearby the hotel! The lobby also had a tiny cafe kiosk in the middle. This was a smart idea- all the food items came in from another place - so it didn't take up much space in the main area. My room was nice, if not a bit odd. The bed was comfy. But the room seemed lacking some basic furniture. There was a huge empty space across from the couch, with just a bare wall. And there was no drawers or anyplace to put our luggage on top of or to put our clothes into - especially not for a room with 2 queen beds in it. We literally dumped our suitcases on the ground in the empty space, across from the couch which looked at... nothing! The staff was very nice. Thank you!

Check-in was easy and stress-free. With 238 guestrooms and suites, our clean and spacious room was nice, and being at the very end of the hall on the upper floor, it was pretty quiet. For the price, I would give it zero stars otherwise as rooms are in great need of updating in soundproofing. If anyone around you flushes a toilet or runs bathroom water you hear it and even in the living rooms you can hear all the traffic noise and the bedroom is closer than living room space. The bed and bathroom fixtures are updated and nice quick hot water. There is an area for coffee with microwave/refrigerator with a little countertop outside the bathroom to use which was nice. The air conditioner also works well. I wish they would modernize the couch sofa bed as it was awful feeling all the springs and made for a painful back/neck the next day. The breakfast is good but normal for free. Staff again in breakfast area was excellent. The parks are close so it's convenient but rest is imperative so if you're not a sound sleeper, I'd make a stay further out somewhere else for a good nights sleep.

The only issues I ever had were with the wait staff. The service was always very slow. Whether we were at breakfast, or having drinks at the bar late at night. It was consistently very slow service. Not once did the waitstaff ever come by to offer me more coffee at breakfast. So, for service I give 3 stars. However, the bartender at the pool was wonderful! She was very nice and attentive. The valets were all great! The front desk staff were all wonderful. It's really just the waitstaff in the restaurants that need to get better. We loved our room. We had a view of the pool. I did call downstairs to ask for a magnifying mirror and a weight scale. They said they didn't have either. Fortunately they called back and did in fact have a scale and brought it up to my room. I would hope a nice hotel like this would have magnified mirrors for the bathroom. The food and drinks in the restaurants were good. No complaints. The location is great. We walked to dinner and to the nearby lake Eola. There's plenty of things to do within walking distance. I would stay here again.

They taste like fake food. I didn't like the breakfast link veggie sausages and the tomato bisque was too sweet. I'm sure those can be swapped for something way better. There was no utensil For the waffles. I forgot to ask for one but how come no one else noticed? The staff did replenish the food but not the serving spoons/tongs. They do still have an omelette bar and meat carving station and crepe station. I enjoyed all 3. Clean and organized. Not too crowded. I was a little concerned about the temperature of the oysters on the half shell. If this brunch is going to last, it could use some improvement. After all, It's not a cheap brunch.

We were able to go out and about without worrying about driving, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The hotel was easy to find, and parking is conveniently located right across the street with simple in-and-out access (though, of course, there is a parking fee -- which is never fun). Inside, the hotel is very clean, beautifully decorated, and the staff was accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was on the fifth floor, which I actually prefer when staying in a city -- the higher up, the better to avoid street noise. One of my favorite features of Embassy Suites is the room layout. The separation between the living room and bedroom is ideal, especially if someone wants to rest while others are still awake. The rooms have consistently been clean and feel very homey. Everything was great -- until Sunday morning. This is a dog-friendly hotel, which we love since we bring our dog and take her on walks so she's not stuck inside all weekend. However, checkout morning was pure chaos. One of the two elevators was out of service, it was peak checkout time, and there was also a princess pageant event happening, so the hotel was much busier than usual. Trying to get downstairs with my dog was extremely frustrating. I looked for stairs but wasn't sure if they were alarmed. When I asked an employee to confirm, she looked at me like I had five heads, which didn't help my already thin patience (I definitely did not have enough coffee for that situation). I eventually just went downstairs. Coming back up was even worse -- the line for the single working elevator was ridiculous. When I asked the front desk about the stairs, I was told they were accessible from outside. I didn't realize I needed my key card to re-enter through the outdoor stairwell (which makes total sense -- I was just aggravated at that point). After going back inside and trying again, I ended up walking up five flights of stairs with my dog. Thankfully, we had requested a late checkout, so we avoided the absolute peak of the chaos. Our friends on the third floor ended up carrying their luggage down the stairs because waiting for the elevator wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, being on the fifth floor with a lot of luggage, that wasn't really an option for us. Aside from that stressful morning, we really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary evening happy hour with drink tickets and small bites is always a highlight. We also had breakfast on Saturday morning -- and honestly, the breakfast is a major deciding factor whenever we choose to stay at a Hilton. Overall, a great stay with one very frustrating checkout experience.

Me and my wife enjoyed the bowling alley. We had a lot of fun. Don't forget about the shops with all your favorite carton characters t shirts hats slippers you name it Star Wars, the minions the Simpsons fun for kids all ages. We also enjoyed the cabana cafeteria . I had a spicy chicken sandwich with fries my wife had chicken teriyaki lomein full of nice pieces of chicken ,Which she enjoyed .I also had some chicken tenders and fries from the cafeteria on our stay. We also ordered food from door dash while we were in the main lobby. We ordered shake shack which was cheaper ordering from door dash then buying food on the resort, smash burgers well done with cheese fries, for a little vacation cheat because I'm on a diet. By the way the order came really fast. Don The pool was great especially at night the view was amazing. With the lights shining on the pool and the really nice fire pit they had so you can even roast some marshmallows by it. Also the pool features a water slide for kids and adults. The blow up rafts were $9to17. You also could bring your own as well. You also had an ice machine with cold water free. Plus you had the soft drinks and soda all you can drink for $30 . That was the drink packed. Cabana bay resort also had a restaurant right next the pool outside. Where they had some really good chicken quesadillas with fries. My wife enjoyed that. . I went with the chicken wrap with lettuce and some veggies, It was great to eat pool side with the beach chairs equipped with the big umbrella for shade . Check in, took 30+ mins long and we checked in online, but the online check desk was closed, which seemed odd. There were tons of people that were from out of town that looked tired, especially after going through airport securities/travel from their states and looked like they just wanted to get their room and go to sleep, but it seemed that there was no urgency from staff. They didn't look short staffed, but I saw other staff standing around with no lines at their kiosk with multiple areas for them to step in at check in- Which tells me that there needs to be some cross training encouraged to help their processing. Fun Fact: I rode two rides at Universal with my fast pass faster than checking in to our room. Room was clean, view was nice. We stayed on the top floor with the view of one of the pools, which was nice but I had not so much of a good first night due to the AC in the room not working properly and I'm a hot sleeper so I did not sleep well. I did address the issue in the morning and let the staff know about my issue and that I was gonna be gone for the day and they did fix my issue right away. The food was surprisingly mediocre, and they have four different restaurants you can eat from and we went to three of them, which seems to be the same style of food just spread out. The first night I had a Smashburger it looked very delicious, but then I found myself putting on basic ingredients on my burger, salt and pepper. If I did not, it would have not had any seasoning. The second night I went to the Brazilian steak eatery and as far as a quick steak to get, it was very delicious and they serve it with mashed potatoes and gravy, which was really delicious. I would recommend eating your meals at least for dinner there if you're going to eat in the in the resort. If you're looking cocktails, they have them and they're very delicious. Prices are high, but you get a quality drink. I think I just had a bad experience. I don't feel that everybody encounters what I encountered when they visit, but I would have given a 3 star rating if it wasn't for how convenient it is to get to the park, there's a shuttle that picks you up every 10 minutes and drops you off and when you're done at the park, it picks you up and takes you right back to the hotel. Beats paying $50 a day for parking at the parks, but you still have to pay for parking with your room which is significantly less. All-In-all it was good, but not great for my experience, I will probably attend a different resort next time, but as a local in Florida, we have that choice.
