This hotel is relatively new. The price for our stay was amazing to say the least. The parking lot was more than enough. It's modern touch is very inviting. They have lollipops at front desk. Across from front desk is the breakfast buffet and dining area with a generous seating area. Breakfast was good. I enjoyed the fruits and waffles. I checked in for a nice weekend getaway with my family. I wanted 2 king sized beds when booking my reservation online but there wasn't any available. So I was defaulted to have 2 queen beds(I reserved 2 rooms. One room for me and my husband and the other for my in-laws who were visiting from NY). When I checked in, I doubled check to see if there were possibly any king beds available and unfortunately there still weren't any. With all that being said... Folks reserve months in advance for king size as they seem to fly off the shelves like fresh baked hot cakes. That was not the only disappointment of my stay. My 3 star rating is what it is because once I stepped into my room, it was dirty with crumbs all on the floor. Does this hotel even vacuums is my question? The amount of debris on the ground was a huge disappointment. I only noticed it more because my 10 month old son decided he wanted to explore and crawl wherever he could and he started picking up things from the ground and my husband and I noticed the couches and the floor near the office space was quite filthy. To add to the filth, there was a disgusting red stain on the ground in between the queen beds. It is apparent that the house keeping personnels are doing mediocre cleanings. They just appear to focus on making the beds and decorating the toilet paper and napkins more than actually wiping things down and vacuuming. Please be more thorough all around. For such a new establishment, I should've been wowed with not just the lobby area but most importantly my room.

Grease hand prints among other things on the headboard.

Chose this Marriott property due to proximity for a business trip. It was apparent from check-in that management doesn't care about the property or customer experience. Lobby items like grab & go were empty, only one elevator worked, mini fridge wouldn't lower below room temp, shower items like shampoo and conditioner were not only empty but the canisters were removed entirely, and the linens and towels weren't cleaned between guests. I found multiple types of hairs in towels and sheets. Tried to make it work as I'd had a long day and an early morning. Asked twice for a clean set of sheets to be sent to my room. Both times sheets were too small. I decided not to stay and went next door to Hampton Inn. Front desk told me to call the manager tomorrow regarding billing. Spoke to GM Fernando, who told me the room was 100% non-refundable even though I checked in 4 hours ago and was not staying the night. Period. I've never been so disappointed in Marriott, and will be removing this property from our corporate group booking option.

We stayed here before the family cruise trip. It located between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Not next to major attractions, but minutes driving distance to restaurants if you have a car. The hotel room is clean and roomy. It's a plus when the room is facing big water pond/lake. The morning view was amazing through the hotel room window. Breakfast selection is average. Bedding is comfortable and the restroom is newly renovated. It was a pleasant during our stay.

Recent stay. First time customer…read more.. I usually stay at the Hilton across the street from this Hotel when visiting FL for my Birthday. This year, I decided to checkout Courtyard, since the price was reasonably cheaper. Never again! 1 star -FIRST NIGHT, I asked the receptionist for toothbrush since I misplaced mine, the receptionist sarcastically replied, "What did you do!?" While handing me a toothbrush. -The outlets in my room did not charge my electronics! -The bed is facing the window while the television is placed on a table which is placed on the side of the wall which makes it difficult to watch tv in bed. That sucked! -SECOND NIGHT, my room access card did not work... The same receptionist replied "What did you do to it!?" While waiting for her to give me an updated card, I had to use the bathroom. I went to my room, the card did not work! I was agitated at this point. I had to go back to the reception desk. She told me then assured me that someone will fix the problem. As I'm waiting the maintenance guy did NOT speak English! I asked him if the card would work for the side entrance doors, he didn't understand what I was saying, therefore he had to pull out his phone to translate what I was saying. He wanted me to input that info into his phone. Unacceptable! -THIRD NIGHT, the elevators were out of order! I had to walk up three flights of stairs to get to my room. -The access card did not work AGAIN!!! -The ice machine on my floor did not work. That meant I had to get ice from another floor. I was over it! and ready to go! A refund would have been great after staying there for 3-4days!! Not worth the money. First, and last time. I am truly disappointed. I would never refer anyone to stay there.

Everyone raved about the convenience from Fort Lauderdale International Airport. They said it was a smooth ride and easy to find right off the highway. I liked that it was tucked in so that you cannot hear the cars from 75. I also like that breakfast is included and the beds are clean and comfortable. There's a nice pool and Jacuzzi and it's just steps away from Cracker Barrel. This hotel is very convenient in that there's an enterprise Rent-A-Car at the entrance to the road that leads to this Hampton Inn. If anyone needed to rent a car they could right there. There's a Publix down the street. Fresh Market is in the other direction. Pembroke Lakes Mall is only 3 miles away and Pembroke Gardens outdoor mall is only 2 miles away Every was super close and super convenient. I didn't hear not one complaint from anyone staying in the five rooms.

I could have called down for more firm ones, but I just dealt with it. Somewhat large shower and bathroom. We had a view of the parking lot and I-75. I doubt any of the other rooms had better views. They have a complimentary breakfast. They have several egg options. They also have muffins and plain, flavorless bagels. I have stayed at other Hampton Inns and they had much better breakfasts. The only thing I could have eaten was the Otis Spunkmeyer muffin.....so we left and went to Cracker Barrel which you could almost walk to from here.

And pretty much same everything else, except much older and warn. The cleaning staff here is really, really, really slow. I was only here for two nights, and I had to check in late because my room was not ready. They never got to my room either day because it was at the end of the hall. I ended up getting some clean sheets and making the bed myself as well as clean towels and I left the garbage outside my door. One of the days, I left, had breakfast, did a little sight seeing and returned to the room about 3p and they still hadn't gotten to it. And the funny thing is, or should I say ironic... the day I was to checkout, they were knocking on my door early. Which made me wonder why that was not the case the first two days. Honestly, the only thing it has going for it is it is in a pretty nice area. Close to Pembroke Gardens and other nice places to visit. Also, the customer service is top notch which kind of makes up for it.

It was $15 for the breakfast buffet. -Parking was an additional $5/night. Overall I think this Hilton location needs some work. Left at 3 stars due to the price I paid.

When we returned, we really settled in and checked out the room. I wish I took a detailed picture but the first odd thing was the shower door. There was only half, with the other half completely open. We took our dog out for a walk and I found a dying baby bird on the ground in the parking lot, which I was unable to save and did not sleep well that night. I mention that because when we were leaving upon checkout, there was a different dead baby bird right outside the side door of the hotel. The air conditioning was not cold enough and it definitely felt humid at times. When we were showering, water flooded the bathroom because of the one door. Then the air conditioning unit was leaking water/ condensation really bad so we put all our used towels there to soak it up. Hubs works in HVAC so he informed the front desk when we were checking out. The breakfast was great at this location! They had so many Udi's gluten free products and they had croissants!!
