Very nice brand new hotel. Springhill suites and the residence Inn are connected. The Spring Hill suites lobby was closed and the residence inn lobby was open. I had an average breakfast but had everything you needed. Everything was clean in the room. The one downside was the AC/heating unit blows into your face while you sleep so I had to place a towel to deflect the air flow. Lots of room in the lobby to hang out and the residence inn has a bar.

Most important: The SpringHill lobby is closed, so you have to enter through the Residence Inn lobby. I wish it would have told me that in the Marriott app prior to arrival. The room was absolutely fantastic. Huge! I reserved a room with two beds so we could have a girls night at the Cooper Hawk winery within walking distance. The bathroom was huge, the closet was huge, the room was huge. Very enjoyable! I thought I may have been upgraded because I'm lifetime status with Marriott. The room was clean, staff was nice. I didn't take time out to see the breakfast, but I would definitely stay here again.

    BASH - Inside the venue

    BASH

We had our wedding reception at BASH, and I genuinely can't imagine a better experience. From the…read morevery beginning, it stood out as an incredible value--beautiful, flexible, and perfect for couples who want something special without blowing their budget. The space itself is absolutely stunning. It's one of those venues that can easily be dressed up to match any vision, but honestly, it looks amazing even on its own. Whether you're going for something simple or more elaborate, it gives you the freedom to make it completely your own. What really made the experience exceptional, though, was the staff. Everyone we worked with was fantastic--friendly, responsive, and clearly experienced. Aly was especially amazing: so knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way, which made the entire planning process feel easy and stress-free. We loved how customizable everything was. We brought in our own vendors, which helped us stay within budget, and the venue worked perfectly with our choice to use food trucks--such a fun and unique touch that our guests loved. It's also worth noting that they do have great partner options available too, including help with booking hotel blocks, which is super convenient. The bar setup was another highlight. Their build-your-own bar package is such a cool option, and Ayden was incredibly helpful in guiding us through it. He even offered to track down Malört for us (I'm a Chicago native, so that meant a lot!). We ultimately went with a cash bar, but his willingness to go above and beyond really stood out. Overall, BASH made our reception feel completely personalized and effortless. I would recommend it to absolutely anyone planning a wedding or any kind of event--you really can make it exactly what you want, and the team will support you every step of the way.

It's pretty from what I did see and a nice place to host an event.

Loved the yard games and chalk, a worker (I assume) came out and gave my son a ball and balloon which made his day and kept him busy which was kind. Not so good: first time here and they were out of almost all of the food, and I think only one person working because it took a good 10+ min to see anyone to order my beer. Again first time here so I was confused; was I in the wrong spot, do I go up front to order? Do I need to use the QR code for beer? I ended up asking some people in the area and they said "oh you're in the right spot, I just haven't seen anyone in quite some time." Suggestion would be more signage as to where to order, and maybe even a "will return in X min" sign so you know someone is working somewhere and have a better idea of when they will return to set expectations. If the guy, who I assume worked there, didn't come out and give my son a ball, fill the dogs water bowl up, etc. then I would have been uninterested in returning, but I think I'm going to chalk it up to a holiday and it being hard to find service people. Since they have Guggman beers I may be back if I'm looking for a dog and kid friendly location.

The beers are great, they have a few that are always on the menu. I like to try the new ones that come out. What I also like about this location is that they have coloring pages, probably meant for kids but I partook in that. I did however do some work while I was there. Didn't need the internet and I'm not sure if they have WiFi for clients. The bartenders are always great and patient when I'm asking to sample all the new beers. Check it out if you're in the area.

    CoHatch - Shared coffee bar

It's no secret that I'm a fan of CoHatch, a 30+ location network of co-working, community spaces…read morethat has been in existence for just under 10 years since its start by six friends in Columbus, Ohio. CoHatch, which has hosted at least a couple Yelp events that I can remember, currently has five locations in Central Indiana (a sixth, Circle Centre, I believe has closed). The locations include Polk Stables, Zionsville, Carmel, Noblesville, and this location in Broad Ripple. This location is housed in a former church (I know it used to be Common Grounds and I'm pretty certain it was at least one church before that). There's still some of the stained glass windows present. Managed by Jenna, whom I met during a Polk Stables Yelp event, this location seems to be quite busy. While I didn't get a chance to go around it as much as I'd have liked as I was here for an actual meeting, I was impressed with the decor, amenities, the people I met, and the efforts to make it accessible. Let's start there. Not every CoHatch location is truly accessible - they tend to locate in unique and often historic buildings. This can create challenges to true accessibility. This location has accessible parking in the back along with a ramp that goes up to one of the doorways. If you're not a member, you'll have to be let in. I wasn't completely thrilled with the end of the ramp - it's got a bit of a lip to it, however, the effort is obvious and it definitely works. The parking is also truly ADA compliant. I didn't notice all the businesses here, however, I did note that the Sagamore Institute maintains offices here. This location has the usual coworking spaces, a large event space, an outdoor area with a patio and kitchen, a sports simulator, and private offices. They have high-speed Wifi, coffee/tea options, meeting rooms (we used one to record an interview), 24/7 access, phone booths, office supplies, mailbox service, printing/copying, workshops for members, a kitchen, and an onsite manager. The neighborhood feels safe and is a pretty easy jaunt over to Broad Ripple's main strip. I like the decor, though found it a bit more plain than some of the locations. I think Polk Stables remains my favorite of the Central Indiana locations. This location is probably the closest to my home and it's definitely someplace I could see myself working. As someone who does a lot of social outreach/charity work, I definitely saw spaces I could bring to life here. I also did notice the restroom offered nice accessibility and there were some personal supplies in the restrooms - nice touch. I'd wanted to stop into this place and was pleased when I found out a meeting was going to be here. I finally got to check it out and was definitely impressed.

I liked that they had maintained the structure and tried to continue the architectural flairs and quiet spaces yet allowing for new design inside. It is used for various offices and you can either rent out an office space (small cubicle) or just work in one of the many co-work spaces. It was tasteful and expansive but also had several little nooks for a quieter space. There were outside spaces and even a Barbeque space that could be rented for parties or business outings. My meeting was a fun way to be exposed to this location and will definitely be returning to try out some of the other spots for meetings or work.

The outside sitting area is really nice. Our first room had a ant issue but it was nice while we were in it. Then we moved to a first floor handicapped room. That room was nice except the shower. The drain must be slow so because there is no bathtub water filled up all the way down to the toilet which was 8 feet away. It was crazy. They ran out of breakfast items but that could be because of the last minute rush of everyone to get food. Probably won't stay at this one again but since it just opened maybe they are still working out the bugs. No pun intended.

We check some areas out and find they have a workout room as well as a pool. The next morning we eat breakfast. The bacon wasn't hot when I got it and wasn't quite as crispy as I prefer it. Unfortunately somehow the eggs were cold even though they had just brought out the pot of new eggs. I did like their options for bread, though, because they had sourdough bread which is my favorite kind of bread. They had a nice variety of items so at this point I could see myself skipping bacon and eggs next time, replacing them with possibly a yogurt parfait. Day 2 Breakfast was a little different on day 2. They had back bacon instead of normal bacon and it basically tasted like ham. There were potatoes of some kind and they replaced the waffles I had been looking forward to since yesterday. I ended up just eating toast. Considering I couldn't sleep night 1, night 2 was different and my sleep was amazing. Their pillows are super soft and fluffy. I slept better than I had in a while. We checked out morning of the 3rd day. Overall our stay was pretty great. Not perfect but definitely earned the 4 stars.
