Throughout the wedding, there was a woman repeatedly walking back and forth throughout the venue. She walked in and out of rooms, walked around during speeches across the floor, and was constantly present in areas where guests and members of the bridal party were getting ready. Several of us noticed her and felt as though we were being watched. We eventually learned that she was a worker for the venue and was not someone the couple had hired to assist with their wedding. So everyone was confused !! What was especially concerning was the extent to which she appeared to involve herself in the wedding. She was observed looking through windows and doors while members of the bridal party were changing, handling personal belongings, looking inside food pans, pouring out the couple's beverages, and moving items and table setups without permission. At one point, she was seen looking into the bridal suite, which understandably caused everyone to become very uncomfortable and concerned about the couple's privacy because no one knew how long she was standing there watching. Guests should be able to attend a wedding without feeling like they are being monitored or having their personal belongings and arrangements handled by venue staff without permission. The situation became so uncomfortable that guests were whispering among themselves and trying to understand what was happening. Eventually, some people began leaving because the atmosphere had become awkward and uncomfortable. What should have been a beautiful and memorable celebration for the couple instead became a stressful experience. I understand that venues have rules and employees have responsibilities, but there is a difference between appropriately managing a venue and repeatedly interfering with a private wedding. The couple deserved to enjoy their special day without this level of disruption. Based on my experience as a guest, I would not recommend this venue.

We also each had two drink tickets to use on an assortment of beer and wine. The food was good- standard quality for this type of place- and the service was attentive and friendly. After the dinner hour, we had an hour reserved for a couple bowling lanes and then we each had a $25 credit card to use on games and rides. I tried a go kart for the first time and it was definitely a memorable experience. Other rides available include a carousel, pirate ship, and even an indoor drop. There are a ton of games - minigolf, race cars, shooters, etc but I prefer some classics like skee ball and basketball. This place is massive, and for its size, appears to be very well maintained, clean and tidy. The ride took 3hrs, on a beautiful day it's an epic trip. It was hot but no rain to ruin it so it worked out perfectly. My husband and I got married at this venue on October 5, 2024. We toured this venue on March 19,…read more2023. When we had first toured the venue we were told that the base price was 7900 which included the day of one hour rehearsal, and set up of tables for reception and ceremony when we had toured the venue it was a seemingly nice venue, family owned and very communicative. After we had chosen this venue for our wedding day and put down our deposit we were then told that we would not be able to schedule our wedding rehearsal until the week of the wedding, this came as a shock since we were not told this when we had first toured the venue. As time went on, I would frequently message and email the person I had toured with which was Kerry the woman who owns the venue. Whenever I reached out or asked a question there was a very late response, short response or no response at all. The only time that the people from the venue were responsive was when it came to money. Also, when it came to money, they recommended that we paid everything in cash in which we did I would follow up, always asking for some sort of receipt or documentation in which they never provided any. Finally, when the wedding came, we were able to book the rehearsal a few days before the wedding. We also had to do our bar services through the venue since they do not let you provide your own alcohol or your own bartenders. You have to do a package through the venue. The day of the wedding was fine, but there were a few things that I would like to note. The bar staff came right before the bar opened at seven and nothing was prepared. They served warm beer and barely had any mixers. The wedding guest complained about the drinks, the service and the lack of accommodation. For example, we had to provide our own water so my mom went and bought 6/7 cases of water which they did not give to guests so at the end of the night she just ended up taking them home. The father of the groom even went up to order at one point and was not serviced right away, even though there were three bartenders and no one in line for the bar. For bar services we paid over $6000 for three hours of open bar for 150 guests. I also want to note that prior to the wedding. I had reached out to Cody (son of Kerry) who also works for the venue and asked if the caterer that we hired would be able to serve beer/wine which he had quickly responded with a yes, when the day of the wedding came, the bartender said they would not be able to give the beer or wine to the waitresses due to, the possibility of it being served to people under 21. Also, during the ceremony we had popped some confetti made out of paper. Quickly after the manager, that was there came up to some of our guests/ wedding party that had popped the confetti and had asked them to immediately clean it up rather than asking them to do it at least by the end of the day. There was also a situation with the projector, not working. We had made a slideshow to show our guest and the projector was not working properly. After the wedding, I followed up with the venue to let them know about my experience which I spoke with the owner and she had excuses for why she was absent and just reiterated how great their venue is despite our experience. I'm writing this review to warn others who are looking into finding a venue for their special day. I would not recommend working with this venue, considering they are unresponsive, not accommodating, sketchy. Not sure who all this situation is relatable for but I hope no one else has to experience this type of unprofessional service.

As far as the location, the front entrance and portico is not falling down, not damaged, and seemed to have fresh paint. The parking lot seems very safe. This hotel is close to interstate, off a main drag, across the street from Whole Foods Market but nestled behind a few buildings and tucked in a corner, the best word to describe the location is secluded. The inside of the hotel was very clean! Updated and in great shape. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby. Pool was closed but it was winter and very cold when I was there so it didn't seem strange...I did glance in the pool area, there was water in the pool, clean, and nothing seemed out of ordinary. While I was there, during the day between 0900 -1700, they were doing maintenance and deep cleaning throughout the hotel. Another nice addition at this location is the balconies off rooms on the second and third floors, and lanais on the first deck. I will stay here again when visiting the area, and not think twice about it.

Items from the room occupants were all over the room, and trash cans were overflowing with trash, and beds were nasty. *Front desk gave us a second room (not the room type I reserved), but the electrical outlets were inoperable, the shower leaked a lot of water all over the floor, the room was missing towels, and when I exited the shower I slipped and fell!!!!! *We didn't get any sleep even after calling the front desk with noise complaints, because of the dogs barking in neighboring rooms and parties in the hallway. *We had to exchange the stale muffin we purchased à la carte, for a fresh Breakfast item. *Front desk promised us hotel management would contact us about the issues, but nearly 2 weeks later and we haven't heard anything. I haven't even received communication follow-up from the hotel about my slip and fall in the shower!!!! ALL OF THIS WAS DOCUMENTED WITH THE FRONT DESK! WHAT GIVES!!!!
