I went to check in with my Government ID to receive the Government Rate. Was told I needed a letter or purchase order to show I was on government business or they would have to increase my rate. Was told that was Marriott policy. I have used my ID at Marriott properties all over the country. Never had a problem until today. I've been trying to leave a compliment for Nicole on the Bonvoy app and Marriott website for DAYS now and the "server is being stubborn." Nicole was amazing and Marriott needs to do better so standout employees can get the recognition they deserve! Here is the part of my employee compliment I've been trying to leave for Nicole from our stay at this location: Nicole assisted us with the check in process and was an absolute delight! When we got to the property, it was 12:15am and Nicole was amazing. We were given the warmest hello on that freezing cold night, before we even planted our feet into the lobby! Nicole was so kind and a lot of fun to talk to during the check in process. We were informed of the complimentary breakfast, my husband spun the Thanksgiving wheel (I truly doubt that is the name of it, I am completely blanking on what it was called, haha), and I really feel Nicole went above and beyond to make my husband and I feel welcome and at home. Nicole is such a genuinely kind person and Marriott Bonvoy/Springhill Suites is SO lucky to have someone so amazing working with their guests! read more

My early reservations was stolen, male staff booked a different guest without thinking and his excuses is oh its the weekend bs less convincing apology the guy give a shit. He offered me two downgrade rooms w/ less space for a family of 5 w/pet I had to sleep on the hard floor. Also $150 for pet fee is unheard of crazy!!! I didn't get reimbursement is another example of big name companies overcharge guest with little accommodations. This motel/hotel is in the city of Henderson so you avoid all those crazy traffic & crowd from the Las Vegas strip. This place is super clean. There's plenty of parking spaces. Checking in & out was easy. One dislike: Their TV is a bit small & has very limited channels. They serve breakfast at 7am on weekends. Although they don't have eggs, I like that they have a waffle section where you can make your own waffles. read more

Very nice hotel. Cleanliness is 4.5/5 All the front desk clerks that I've encountered were so nice and friendly. Housekeeper this morning was very nice. Breakfast is a little light but it gets you going plus you have a coffee maker in your room. I saw a brown spot on the ceiling yesterday morning and my head was all over the place. Packed my clothes into the suitcase and started getting ready to move. They offered to move me but I had so many things. I had just shopped for snacks for 35 kids for 5 days. I told them if you can send someone to kill it and show it to me, hopefully I won't need to move. Maintenance came, killed it and showed it to me. Whatever it was, the belly was white and there were no legs. They handled me well. I am an older woman traveling alone and wanted to be in Henderson for my gdaughters volleyball games. I don't mind driving around here. There's not too much traffic and it's a quiet hotel. So much better than being on the strip. read more

What an amazing experience I had at SpringHill Suites. Every member of the staff seemed happy to be there in the 2 days I stayed here. At the front desk, we met Tofi, who immediately welcomed us aa if we were family. While we got checked in (very early in the day, might I add) Tofi talked with us about all the amazing things to do off strip. She is a master of customer service. I can't explain my gratitude enough for the experience of our conversations throughout the 2 days we were there. The rooms are all nice sized suites and there was NO noise issues, definitely a first time experience for my visits to Vegas. It's seriously appreciated. read more

Stayed here for a short period. Overall, hotel looks nice from the outside. Huge parking lot with plenty of front and back parking. Clean spacious large lobby. Rooms are decent size. I had a microwave, fridge and a living room set. So i guess I must have a mini suite. Overall my stay was pleasant. I would stay here or another Springhill property again. Now the issues: They have a complimentary breakfast. But it's the same items everyday!!! Pork sausage and scramble eggs. They did occasionally change it up but you would never know unless you stayed for weeks. They threw in biscuit and gravy ONE day I was there. Pork sausage was switched out to turkey sausage another ONE day. Had these poached egg things TWO or THREE of the days instead of scramble eggs. And one of the days towards the end of my stay was the best. They had muffins with flat small tiny sausages and with those flat poached egg things so you could make your own breakfast sandwich. Oh and they had hard boiled eggs ONE day also in place of scrambled. I think a big hotel chain like this one can switch up the breakfast EVERYDAY so your guests staying 2-3 days in a row doesn't eat the same thing their entire stay. Just a suggestion! Another suggestion would be to install small safes in all the rooms. They are inexpensive and provide safety for your guests' personal items. I could have definitely used a safe. They have a small gym with basic equipment. 4 cardio machines I recall-treadmill, cycle and elliptical. Workout bench and dumbbells up to 50 lbs. Suggestion: put a large mirror in the gym! It would be nice to see yourself pushing up dumbbells. All gyms have mirror(s). And finally, honesty goes a long way!!! Train your two female front desk clerks to be honest!! You do know Google knows everything right? So I have four pillows on my bed. Btw-the pillows suck! Absolutely no firmness to them. I had to double stack them. Time to change them out! But back to the pillow problem: I found these plastic devices inside 2 of the 4 pillows during the night while I was sleeping. Pulled the pillows out from the pillow cases and saw that it was some plastic device attached to the corner of the pillows. Almost looks like some type of GPS device. Asked some of my buddies in other rooms if they found the same inside their pillows. NO! Just me. So went to the front desk in the morning and asked the two girls working. The shorter one didn't really seem to know. Said "Oh. It's nothing." I respond with it can't be nothing. So the taller girl jumps in and says those are pillow locks. It's to lock the zipper so that people don't steal the pillows. I'm like what? People are stealing pillows? I rather steal towels or maybe the microwave or chairs. Well I guess the device didn't work since the zipper wasn't even locked into the device that i showed the taller girl. I also noticed management was also nearby. She walked by while I was questioning the devices but obviously she didn't want to be involved in the conversation. I assuming she is management since she is the best dressed there everyday and she works in the back office. Plus I've seen her give out orders. So I went back to the room and Googled it. Those devices are in fact to lock the zipper. But not to prevent thieves from stealing pillows. It is to keep BED BUGS from getting into the pillow! So now I'm wondering. Are there bed bugs I need to worry about? I think the honest thing for those two girls to tell me was the truth. Did they think people aren't going to find truth? Like I said. Needed a place to stay in Vegas on our way back home. We decided to try this hotel considering we stayed mostly in Springhill Suites during our 2 week vacation. This location is older than the other Springhill Suites we stayed in. The design is much older which is apparent with the tub shower and sink out in the open. The walls of this location were very thin. Early in the morning you can hear people walking and doors closing. The bed was firm, which made it hard to sleep. The room itself was very spacious. Complimentary breakfast was also included. The one thing I found odd was that they didn't offer individual single carton milk. If someone wanted milk, they had to pour it out from a 1 gallon jug. We had a very pleasant stay at Springhill! The room was clean and spacious and a great price. Tofi Yerks at the front desk was a great help and one of the nicest people I have ever met! She was very attentive and accommodating to our situation as I am from out of state and my car broke down near by. From seeing her interactions with other customers I can safely say she is. Housekeeping staff IGNORES do not disturb tag on door two days in a row!! What is wrong with people?? I don't care what time it is, Do Not Disturb means DO NOT BANG on my door because you haven't cleaned my room!!! Springhill suites does not care about your safety or privacy!! Positive: - Room is spacious. Lobby is nice Negatives (there are many) - I checked in today to rest and recover from health issues. In the course of 5 hours, housekeeping knocked on my door 5 times despite me yelling out to ask them to go away and putting up the DO NOT DISTURB sign - at 8 PM, I get a call from front desk asking me if maintenance can come into my room to do some work. I told them to go away and not call my room again during my stay - at 9 PM, housekeeping knocked on my door again to ask if we needed a blanket. I lost it. Checking out in the morning vs 4 days later. Note to GM: train your staff! There is something severely broken in how this hotel is managed. read more

The only good thing about this hotel was the front desk woman. She was polite and kind and pleasant. But this hotel was awful. Truly filthy. There was black dirty streaks all over my shower walls and curtain as well as the window curtain. Nasty stains all over the couch. The fridge was so loud it was piercing. And the walls are so thin I could perfectly hear the people next door, as well as the cleaning staff in the morning being so obnoxiously loud and rude in the hallways. They charge ten dollars a night for parking and there isn't even enough spaces to park. And if you go around back, there's a bunch of riffraff and kids messing around and I didn't feel safe at all. Very spacious room (since they are suites) but we did have quite a few problems. The soap dispenser in the shower was completely empty. That is SUPER frustrating because once you figure it out it's pretty much too late to do anything about it. I would think that is a basic item on the cleaning checklist to make sure the three dispensers in the shower are full. The pillows on my bed had hair on them. Not just one hair but a lot, almost as if the pillowcases hadn't been changed. The floor next to the credenza was SOAKING wet. I don't know what happened there but it was gross. The bathroom sink was clogged so when you had it on for only a few seconds to wash your hands it filled up. There are way to many places to stay for us to ever take a chance staying there again. read more

We stayed at this hotel on our way to Arizona. It was a quick stop over to rest, sleep and get a shower. With everything going on with the Covid-19 pandemic... cleanliness and safety is at the front of everyone's mind. Especially, when traveling. We were pleased to find our room was very clean and appeared to have been given great detail to ensure guests were protested. The room had been sanitized and there was a note in the room from housekeeping, explaining what they had done to protect against the spread of the virus. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. As mentioned, it was a quick stop, for an overnight stay. They had "to-go" breakfast bags, for each guest the next morning; as their breakfast area was closed. This was a nice substitution. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. read more

I was in Henderson March 18th-20th for my sons birthday, and chose this hotel because it was right around the corner from my son's house, and being as I just moved from Henderson a year ago I knew about it. Figured would be great in case he wanted to stay with me, or even come hang out, and having lived there my entire life I knew what was surrounding the area. Which this is in a great location! Without a doubt. And the front desk girl on March 19th was kind. My flight was delayed and came in late, so I checked in around 11:30 ran to see my son before it turned midnight headed back to the room to crash. The room at 12:15am after being up since 5:30am was great, except the air conditioner was extremely loud. Fast forward to the next morning. I'm supposed to meet my son and daughter (who was also in town visiting her dad) for breakfast so they can see each other and spend time before she had to fly home. I wake up with a raging migraine because my room is not feather free and I'm allergic to down. Finally figure a shower would help, and to my disgust I find what looks like vomit on my toilet (not mine obviously) I'm so disgusted I'm trying to shower quickly and get out. But you know once you see one thing you see everything? There was hair on the walls of the shower. I get out and find pubic hair on the ground in the bathroom. I proceed out to the "living" area and find food everywhere. All over the floors around the bed and desk there is what looked to be bacon, chips, nuts, and raisins? I'm shaking now because I'm so disgusted. I'm already on an emotional roller coaster because I left Vegas after a tragic death so being there with my son was already emotional, now I've been sleeping and walking around in someone's disgusting filth. This is NOT Marriott standards. I head downstairs to talk to a manager or whoever will listen. The girl kept apologizing and offered to switch me rooms. Fine, give me a CLEAN room and I can take the time to collect myself and hopefully still make breakfast with my kids. I start packing up and head to the next room. To my surprise is NOT clean or ready, the housekeepers told me it had just had a carpet cleaning and deep cleaning and was not ready. I'm done beyond belief at this point. I decided that I'm out of there, I don't care if I have to pay for a night that I'm not using I'm done. I'm so disgusted, disappointed, and completely emotionally drained that I just want to go home. The girl at the desk was once again kind and trying to accommodate but that isn't good enough. I did have the night of March 18th comped, and I didn't pay anything for leaving early. I'm assuming a manager actually went into the room to inspect what I was complaining about because I didn't get the "invoice" emailed to me for about 4 hours after leaving. But this should have never happened from the beginning. Especially in this day and age after a "pandemic" and learning about how to be clean and to clean. This room was nothing but filth and disappointment. What was already an emotionally exhausting weekend turned worse. Marriott should be ashamed to have their name on this. And the employees who actually did their job and want to make things right, good for you but put your hard work into somewhere/something to be proud of. We are staying across the street at Towneplace Suites in July for a week for the nationals dance competition. I hope they can far surpass what their sister property gave me. And no I didn't even inspect the bed I couldn't fathom to think what I could possibly have found in there. read more

This hotel is pretty old and run down. I was expecting a little better based off the reviews. I checked in here and was booked for five nights, but only stayed one and switched to another Marriott. The bathroom had mold on the tiles in the shower and the furniture was stained. The worst part was the A/C and heat, it was a wall mounted unit that would turn off and on, each time it did it sounded like an airplane engine was starting up in the room. The staff here was nice though, but they can only do so much unless they company will spend some money and update the rooms. read more

On a visit to Vegas to meet with an old friend during the NFR Rodeo we chose to stay here as it was close to 3 locations we decided to visit. Conveniently near the 215 in a nice quiet location. We had a well laid out and appointed, clean, suite. The desk staff, housekeeping and breakfast attendant were all friendly and helpful. I believe that they had the best breakfast that I have had in the many places that I have had occasion to stay at. Vegas has many places to stay at and most of them are so big they are impossible to feel comfortable in. That is not the case here. We really enjoyed this property. read more

Off of I-215 and Stephanie St., this Springhill is in Henderson, a suburb where working people live; everyday amenities and neighborhood eateries abound. The room décor is contemporary and has clean lines -- a nice blend of wood, brushed metal, and frosted glass. I really like the glass partition between the desk and beds where you can slide the frosted panels aside to make the room more open. Plenty of different lighting: regular, concealed fluorescent, and LED. Due to the building design, which you can tell from the outside, certain rooms are longer than others (see pictures). A few flaws upon entry: coffee table had drink stains; clock was unplugged; two short strands of hair were found underneath one of the comforters. All the nearby doors close hard, slamming loudly and rattling walls. (The door springs need adjustments.) Breakfast buffet is simple, has waffles, eggs and sausages, but no fruits. I have stayed at other Springhill Suites, and this Henderson one does not surpass the others, but the bed is comfortable. After six days of tent-camping at Bryce and Capitol Reef, it felt like a nice repose. And a sub-$80 rate can be had, too. Stayed for two nights in late October 2010; would give it another try. read more

Still booking rooms but when you get there they direct you to TownePlace. If your closed freaking close bookings so people know what they are getting! Not sure what's going on here because we have stayed before and it used to be great. Not so much now. Main breakfast entree was biscuits and gravy. When we left the pan was still full because no one was eating them. What a waste of food. Bring back the egg omelette. Also, they stopped putting hand lotion in the rooms. I have mixed feelings about this place. The staff is really friendly and helpful and the overall experience was great. Here's the rub and cause for the loss of 2 Stars: We had our little 1 year old walking around in his socks during the morning while we were getting ready. By the time we were ready, the bottom of his socks were black. It was literally the fastest I have seen socks get dirty in my life. Booked this hotel through a concierge service required to use for a "Stay and Play" basketball tournament in Las Vegas. We decided not to attend and play. The link provided in my reservation was broken so I couldn't cancel. I left messages for concierge service and finally got a hold of someone the day we were due to arrive. I was able to cancel, but the hotel considered us a "No show" and charged me $135. I spoke with the hotel to confirm cancellation and was told no problem, but I was charged. The GM was rude and refused to refund me any portion of the fee considering the trouble I had with the vendor I was required to use. I will NEVER use a Marriott hotel again. It's a shame because they have nice accommodations, but never again. You lost my business. Travelers beware about these concierge services for these tournaments. I think the issue for me is the old style airco in the wall that has two speeds - ripping fast and off. Being in Vegas you need the air but this was just too much for me. Located about 15-20 minutes away from the strip. This Springhill Suites has a very classy and modern look. My room was equipped with artsy decor, and just felt really clean. As far as spaciousness, it isn't as big as what you would imagine for a suite, but there is a workspace area to get some work done. I knocked off a star because of the location. I thought it would be closer to the strip, and if you travel during peak times, the drive can take almost 30 minutes. Other than that, staff was nice and the building itself was great! read more

This is one of a handful of hotels I would stay at when traveling to Las Vegas, and has lately become one of my favorites. I have to give big thanks to the staff, ESPECIALLY the housekeeping staff, for notifying me that I had left my tablet in my room when I checked out. My daughter had a similar incident when she left her laptop at a Marriott property in Albuquerque and they shipped it to her next day air. That's first class service! Checked in on 6/1/19, approx 2:00. The representative that checked me in was rude, I will have to check my receipt to get her name, and though MY reservation was in MY name, she handed my room key to the guy that was with me, but I did not give her authorization to hand MY room key to HIM!!! She did not know my relationship to him. That is unacceptable. I have stayed at this hotel previously, and enjoyed it. But not THIS particular visit. I doubt I will return. After realizing that I left my tote in the lobby, upon leaving, the next day, (Sunday), I called and was told that the tote was there. I returned to get it, and After waiting patiently, for Isaiah, to finish helping a customer, another woman had approached the desk, Isaiah proceeded to help HER, instead of me, I was only there to retrieve my tote. I saw no one I recognized from previous visits. This new crop of workers should be retrained. The ones I came into contact with on this visit, is the reason I will not book this hotel again. It was an awful experience. These two, that I encountered, have no business being at the FRONT desk. They represent your hotel badly. read more

I've stayed here twice, this time for an extended period (5 days). Check in is a breeze. Rooms are stylish, free wireless. Get this, during happy hour, the beer/wine is free at the bar. Wha?!? No seriously. You can use the workout room here (small), the one across the lot at the other Marriott (larger) or across the street at the Golds gym. A couple of blocks away up Stephanie st. is a nice strip mall with a grocery store and some restaurants. If you are into hiking, there are a lot of sweet trails on the outskirts of the area, close by. read more
