To the manager: The sofa bed at ROOM 122 needs to be thrown away. If not, it needs deep cleaning of the foams BUT the mattress surely needs to go. This hotel is filthy!!! My room had toothpaste spit all over the bathroom mirror, there were urine stains at the base of the toilet. Was told my room would be cleaned properly and when I returned back that afternoon it was not touched. I had to ask for another room and again, water spots and streaks all over the mirrors, there was hair on the shower walls... but at least no urine on the floor! Was refused a refund so that I could stay elsewhere. I have always preferred to stay at Marriott hotels.... I now have to reconsider that. Very disappointed. read more

We picked Springhill suites cuz we thought being part of the Marriott hotel chainit would be nice. The room was ok bed was a little bit to hard for my liking but dealt with it. Got up on Thanksgiving thinking I would go down and have breakfast to find out they put out a limited breakfast cuz of the holiday. Sorry but that is not what I payed for you offer breakfast put it all out that's what people paid for now I have to take my family out to breakfast because you decided not to do your job. This was my FIRST AND LAST TIME I WILL STAY AT A MARRIOTT HOTEL DO WHAT YOU ADVERTISE OR DON'T DO IT AT ALL.I normally stay at Hampton inn in Ardmore and will go back to Hampton inn because at least you get what you pay for. We are Marriott gold members and I can say this place did not live up to Marriott standards. Our room was not the cleanest...there was something black all over the shower curtain, the coffee pot was covered in dust, and there was hair all along the edges in the bathroom. Yikes!! Then to top it off I watched a house keeper use a rock to prop open a door to the outside...soo I didn't even have to use a key to get into the side of the building. Definitely a safety concern, A BIG ONE! Would not stay here again. read more

We stayed here for 2 nights. The price was great, $109 on Travelocity.The room was very spacious and clean. It had a couch and small kitchen sink area. The bathroom was very large and clean. The breakfast was great. It filled up my husband, who can eat. Eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins, fruit, cereals, oatmeal. That saved us $30 which we would have easily spent for breakfast at IHOP. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. We were only supposed to stay overnite, but my husband liked it so much that we stayed the extra night. We're from Fort Worth and just wanted to get away from the teenage kids for a day and night. And we didn't want to drive too far from home or go to Winstar. So We didn't really go anywhere and had no plans. Just out for dinner and stayed the extra night. The pool is indoor and nice. I don't think that we'd ever come back to Ardmore as we don't know anyone but if we do we will definitely stay here again. read more

Our experience was so bad here I don't even know where to start. We decided to take a mini vacation to Ardmore and visit Lake Murray and spend a few days out on the lake. I booked this hotel a month in advance to assure we had a decent place to stay. Upon arrival the hotel was empty which is understandable on a Wed afternoon but the front desk attendant wasn't very friendly in greeting us. Perhaps he had a bad day. I didn't take it personal at first. Our room was clean thankfully. First night settling in wasn't the greatest. In an empty hotel they seem to gather all their guest in one area which resulted in my room being disturbed by kids screaming and yelling. I have older kids now but I understand those days so I didn't complain about the noise. What really set me off is whoever they decided to place above us seemed to be running and jumping all night long. It didn't stop until 3:30am. After about 3 1/2 hours of sleep I was exhausted but enthusiastically looking forward to breakfast at least. I mean I paid for a hot Continental breakfast and I was not about to miss out. I was extremely disappointed when approaching the kitchen to find stapled bags with a sign that read Muffin, Granola bar and water. Seriously? I paid for a hot meal. This bag was literally a $3 snack but at least they were serving bananas on the side. I completely understand we went during the COVID19 pandemic but if you are not going to give me everything I paid for then do not charge me full price. The next day we left kind of early not to be in the way of the cleaning crew. My mistake to assume they were going to clean or replenish towels. They never came to our room. By the second night we had no toilet paper, no clean towels and our trash was full. Our toilet ended up clogged for no reason so I called down to the front desk and asked the attendant if they could send someone to unclog it and to also bring us clean towels and take our trash out. The lady was rude and said no one was there to unclog it but she could bring a plunger and a heavy duty trash bag to bag our trash up in. She also gave us the directions to the big trash can outside but of course didn't bring clean towels. Thankfully I packed extra toilet paper and towels or liters we would have been S.O.L. Every attendant during our stay either wouldn't speak to us or was rude with the exception of check out on the third day. The hotels pool was green and the hot tub was luke warm at best. You could swim side by side with people during the pandemic or sit less than 6 ft apart in a hot tub but don't expect them to serve you warm food! That would be to risky‍ It took 3 days to be treated kindly. Very disappointed it was on our exit out and not during our stay. I have never been to a hotel who ran their business like this. I will never book at the Marriott Spring Hill Suite again and I don't recommend staying here. read more

I received great service at check in. There was fresh coffee and cookies in the lobby. The rooms are always clean!

This is also a new shiny hotel, so everything was especially clean. I got to stay here for two nights and was happy all around. They have a large dining area for the complimentary breakfast, but it fills up fast with families. The woman staffing the breakfast was really nice and would bring us food if something ran out. She was also very kind to keep the breakfast open about 15 minutes past 10 am for diners. The front desk was also really nice helping us with a few questions we had. read more

Noticed that the hotel smelled like an older hotel when we walked in. Got up to the third floor where our room was and the hall carpet was rather dirty and had not looked like it had been cleaned in some time. Walked in our room and it looked ok, but there was a roach crawling around on the bed. We left and went to the Holiday Inn just down the street. Much nicer hotel, only 5 years old. Pro: Stayed at this hotel two weeks ago. We checked-in late in the evening. Staff are friendly. Although the hotel has no restaurant on site, several good restaurant are accessible within 5 minutes driving distance. Con: We like to walking around in our room bare foot. The carpet was clean but advanced cleaning required because my girl's foot turned dark after walking around in the room. At least this is the only thing I can picky at. Now: I will have another trip to Ardmore tomorrow. I still like this one better than the next door brand new Courtyard. Even though this Springhill is more expensive than next door Courtyard, I still decide to have my stay here tomorrow. read more

I have a client in the area and we always choose to stay at this hotel. We have had to stay in several in the area, including the Choctaw Casino, and this is top notch. Breakfast in the morning, workout facility, clean rooms, etc. Definitely the place to stay if you are in the Ardmore area. read more

This is a very nice hotel. Swimming pool, workout center, king room is large and spacious with kind of a seperate living area from the bedroom. Flatpanel TV's, and a very comfortable bed. Definately would recommend out of towners staying here. I think its a little bit higher than a Hampton/Hilton Garden Inn. Havent tried the candlewood suites yet down the road, its new since I have last been here. I had two minor problems. My room was towards the freeway, and you heard every truck coming by, or using its airbrake. I would recommend getting a room on the otherside of the building if possible if your a light sleeper. The other issue is the airconditioning location. I do like it cold when I sleep, but this is like being naked in the arctic winter. The airconditioning unit is litterally right next to the bed. So it blows directly on you. Not something Im very fond of when I sleep. read more

We stayed at Springhill Suites for one night, while traveling thru Oklahoma during Christmas week. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was, especially for the money. My husband booked our room thru hotels.com, for two adults and two young teens we stayed for just over $100. Our room had two queen beds, a small "kitchen" area, a "living room" area, two closets and of course a bathroom. The room was clean and very comfortable. My husband commented that the beds and pillows were very comfy - which is probably the most important requirement when staying at a hotel or motel, you are there to sleep (at least most of the time )!!! We had already had dinner, but if we hadn't a simple meal would have been available to us. The dinner is not five star restaurant quality - they were offering hot dogs or chili dogs with chips and soda. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but for a family with young ones on a budget a simple dinner being included could be a Godsend!! Breakfast was plentiful, offering fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt plus several bread options. Again, not five star, but good enough for most days. The motel has a nice, well equipped conference room, a 24 hour workout room and an indoor pool. We didn't use any of those options, but did walk by them to look them over - all looked clean and well maintained. As far as employee attitude, I saw others had commented about the negative attitudes and customer service they received - we did not experience that at all!!! Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. I had even pointed out the one gal that served dinner the night before and was cleaning the lobby the next morning to my grandson as someone that, if she wanted to, would be able to climb the ladder of success because of her work ethic and attitude (I wish I had made note of her name for this review - she deserved to have her name mentioned as a kudos for a job well done). She was really great- we had dealings with two other employees, they didn't shine as much as the lady I mentioned, but both were pleasant and helpful. All in all, our stay was pleasant and if in the area again, we would opt to stay here again. I see this a a bargain stay for a family with children - with two meals provided, the cost of staying would be cut in half by the money saved. read more

Terrible customer service. The carpets were soaking wet. They had a company out trying to vacuum the standing water out of the main lobby when I arrived. We booked several rooms together on one credit card. The card holder (who also happens to be an elite member of their hotel chain) was running late. So when I tried to check in they would not allow me to. They had his card on file and I even offered to give them the card number. That would be too easy. They made us sit in our car until the card holder got there. I asked if they could hold my card on file until the other card arrived. They wouldn't do that earlier. Instead they would rather have me, my wife and 4 month old daughter wait in the car. If this is how they treat elite members, how do they treat regular customers? The rooms are very nice though, but terrible customer service. I'd look elsewhere next time. read more

I'll start with the good. Pretty clean hotel, and relatively easy fine for the highway. But, although I had reserved a room with two double beds, when I arrive there was only a king-size suite left. That's not great for four people. In addition, the hotel room keys never worked for our room. Never. That means every time we left and came back, we had to find the maintenance person to let us in. Pretty difficult, because they often left only one person working here even though the hotel is full of guests. In addition, our room was not cleaned despite the fact that we were gone all day. This is where my boyfriend and I stay whenever we visit Ardmore for a few days. The hotel has always been extremely clean, the staff polite and understanding, and the rooms have never had any problems. Truthfully, I've never woken up in time to take advantage of their breakfast, but from what I've seen/smelled passing through the lobby, it looks delicious. Just a typical continental breakfast, but still! It's something. The rooms have always been extremely clean, which is a huge plus for me since both my boyfriend and I have such sensitive allergies. They have a desk, lounge chair, sofa, coffee table, Keurig with complementary coffee and tea,TV, microwave and sink (kitchenette), queen sized bed, a bathroom sink area with plenty of plugs, and a separate room for the toilet/shower. The thermostat has been consistently accurate and keeps the entire suite the same temperature, even with the fan on. The lobby is a wonderful place to work/chill. They offer coffee/tea down there, and there's lots of tables and comfortable chairs to spread out and work at. I often go down with my laptop to do some work or just read a book with a cuppa. My only complaints are that there's really not enough plugs. On the side of the bedroom nearest the AC unit and against the bathroom wall is the only plug available for that side of the bed. (Moving the nightstand and bed was too much work and I didn't want to break anything.) I sleep with a heating pad for my back and use my phone as a white noise machine, so it's rather inconvenient. The other thing I'm not crazy about are their pillows. They're all so fluffy that your head just kind of....sinks in...and that's for both the "soft" and "firm" pillows. I've learned to just bring my own pillow when staying here. The last thing that would be nice is if there was just one more blanket on the bed. The only covers on the bed are a thin sheet and a thin comforter. I checked the closet to see if there was a spare blanket, but the one I found was unwrapped and was extremely dusty. Allergies couldn't handle that, so snuggle together for warmth it was. Overall though, it has all the important things a hotel needs. It's got a living area, kitchenette, and a comfortable bed. It's clean and the staff is nice and there's free breakfast. For a hotel in Ardmore, this place is great. read more

A number of things went wrong with our stay, but by far the worst part was the way the employees treated us. (I want to note Tristan is definitely excepted from these complaints -- he was wonderful, kind, helpful, polite and professional. When we first checked in, they didn't have the suite with two queen beds I had already paid for, so we were instead stuck in a room with a king bed and a sofa bed, which wasn't ideal. Honestly, though, Tristan was so polite and helpful that we didn't even care at all about this issue. I can't say enough good things about him!) For example, on the first afternoon we were there, our key didn't open up our room. We went downstairs, but there wasn't anyone at the front desk nor was there a bell or other way to call for help. Luckily, we ran into a maintenance person who was able to go back into the office to find someone to help us. We ended up having to come down and have our key reset three separate times, but the person behind the desk never once offered to, for example, come up with us and see what the problem was. Instead, he just blamed us for the key not working! When we finally got a maintenance person up to check on it, she too blamed us for the problem, telling us things that are too ridiculous to possibly be true. ("If you have the key in one pocket, and your cellphone in a different pocket, the key will become inactivated.") They finally realized that the problem was not, in fact, us, and instead the lock on the door was out of battery. The door was checked. We thought the problem was over. About half an hour later, another guest (a man) opened our room with his key. He was clearly surprised and had just checked in -- he was carrying his luggage. I (a woman) was even more surprised and upset, given that I had just stepped out of the shower and wasn't even covered with a towel when he walked in. When we informed the front desk about this issue, we were basically ignored. When we tried again later, the same employee was there, and apparently didn't even remember being told that they had given our key to another guest. No apology, no promises to look into the problem, only a defensive "I don't know who that man was, and I don't know who gave him the key." Finally, at check out, Tristan was there. (Thank God!) He offered us the room for free, and we were on our way. Then, I called back to the hotel to check on the refund, and spoke to another employee who wasn't able to confirm that it had gone through. He told me he would call me back, and never did. I called again the next day, and was able to speak to Laurie, the GM. While she was able to confirm that the refund went through, she didn't do this before insulting me by blaming me for a misunderstanding we had. So, overall, a bad time. read more

The hotel was nice and clean. The indoor pool was dirty/merky water, not heated, tiny. Room was clean, comfy beds. Free breakfast was nice, breakfast staff was very friendly which was nice. Overall good value, just please clean that pool, heated would also be nice. Spa was nice and clean; you could see the difference between clear water in spa and dirty/merky water in tiny pool. I had a really nice experience here while visiting Ardmore for work. They have a great hot breakfast bar with tons of choices. Scrambled eggs everyday, different breakfast meats each day, a variety of breads like English muffins, bagels and more, yogurt, oatmeal, fresh fruit. Can you tell this is important to me? You can also tell it's a newer hotel because the rooms were nice and modern. The bed was super comfy too. The exercise equipment wasn't nearly as new as the hotel however. It was pretty dated, but still worked just fine. I wish they had some free weights though. I'd be happy to stay here again in the future, and all of the staff were friendly. read more

I stay here every time I am in Ardmore. It is comfortable and reliable. Rooms are new and clean, and as the other reviewer noted, very comfortable bed. Very. I almost want to stay here instead of going home. Warm cookies every afternoon at about 530 when I get back to the hotel from work. Awesome. Decent breakfast, with fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, eggs and sausage. I like that there are some healthy options. I would say don't stay on the 1st or 2nd floor if you are a light sleeper. I heard elephants upstairs from 5-6am. Next time I will insist on the 3rd floor. The fitness room has a treadmill, elliptical and a stationary bike. The treadmill works well. The elliptical is VERY annoying because it resets after every 10 minutes. I haven't tried the bike. The TV in the fitness room is up too high, and it's an old model that sometimes has issues, so bring your own entertainment. I still give the place high marks for even having the fitness room- so many small town hotels don't. read more

First impression when walking in the door was it smelled pretty old. Still didn't look that bad and had good reviews. The minute we walked in the room we had a little visitor, a cockroach roaming around on the bed. Carpet was dated, and definitely did not want to sleep in a bed with a cockroach. Went to the Holiday Inn. Much nicer hotel, only 5 years old. Will not be checking in at the Springhill Suites again. Upon returning to our cleaned room the first day, we discovered a visibly soiled pillowcase; it was either blood or excrement. Disgusting! Also, they forgot to clean the second day and we returned to a dirty room and our trash piled up in the cans. The cards were deactivated after two days without notice and we were forced to trudge through the mud with our cooler and a baby to get to the front desk. To top it off, no diet drinks or healthy beverages were available! All of these inconveniences made it a very unpleasant stay. read more
