I've been a customer for three years and have always been satisfied with the lawn technician's work. However, my issue lies with the company's management. This year, I purchased lawn aeration services. When contacted to schedule, I provided a one-week window and was told I'd receive a follow-up call. After six days with no response, I called and was informed I was never scheduled. I explained I'd be out of town soon and had limited availability. The representative assured me she'd call back Monday--she didn't. I followed up again, requested a manager call me, and still received no response. I ultimately canceled the service and requested a refund. The manager said it would be sent to accounting. This level of disorganization and lack of communication is unacceptable. Customers should not have to chase down basic service or accountability. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company and will be seeking a new lawn care provider. The lady at the front desk was very unprofessional and extremely rude, our yard is dying and brown spots all over, we canceled services about a month ago, but they came to spray again at our yard to which we had to call again and tell them we are not paying for this service as we had canceled, and the front desk lady was so disrespectful. They advertise lawn care which by definition includes lawn mowing, even says so in advertisment, but then they renege on this key item. Don't contract with this company or you will be taken advantage of especially if you are disabled. read more

The "technician" had the lawn caretakers wait while he serviced and then they had to wait for a time after that to continue. I never know when he is coming and it takes him apprx 10 min to complete treatment. He should have noticed they were here and come back later and not have wasted the caretakers time. Definitely not customer oriented. read more

Zero stars, not an option, otherwise it would be no stars. Bad business/lack of communication/poor customer service. Prepaid for the "discount" in the Spring. After months of non communication and seeing my lawn, now full of weeds, I had to reach out and ask why? Luke "Manager/owner" returned my inquiry and said, sir we can't get through to your home because of the resurfacing of Glen avenue b/w Knoxville and Sheridan Roads. There are signs clearly posted for thru traffic, additionally human beings working to ask to pass, to which Luke and or his incompetent staff elected to do neither, nor the courtesy of a call to discuss. During this call, he offered an attitude worthy to share. Clearly, he thought it was appropriate to not communicate their difficulties in delivering the services and seemingly pocket the money and do nothing to deliver the service. When asked for a refund, he flat out declined. Use at your risk! Absolutely horrible experience all around. Flat out criminal behavior. Expensive lesson learned from a low quality individual. This is my first season as a customer of Spring Green and this is the first Lawncare service I used since I moved to Illinois. Long story short here, I wanted to get my lawn aeration and over seeding completed due to prior owners not doing a good job of caring for lawn. I informed Spring-Green that was the most important service that I wanted. Over the past month, I have called weekly and got all kinds of explanations on why they couldn't come out. Snow, Rain which I agreed we have had a lot. However there are other Lawncare groups doing their work on my neighborhood and a couple of lawn aeration's. Spring-Green informed me Friday that they would be out Saturday and their technician called and confirmed. Saturday came and went and he was a no show with no phone call or text saying he was held up somewhere which would have been appreciated. I called the tech twice and texted with no response,Worst thing about it is that I had a secondary company that I contacted and they were ready to come out but Spring-Green stated they were coming and Spring-Green was already paid so I went with Spring-Green. Needless to say very disappointed here! They are under contract for spraying the lawn still but thinking I may move to a different provider next season unless Spring-Green performs spectacularly the rest of the season. The lawn aeration and over-seeding is however not going to happen with Spring-Green. I am going to call the other provider and have them perform the work. Update. Spring Green came out after speaking with me over the phone a few times. Spring Green actually refunded money previously provided because of not making their deadline. Didn't expect that so put the money they refunded me into a different service. I will admit they made it right and very appreciative of them doing that for me! read more

I can't say enough good things about Spring-Green! Luke was our guy who treated our lawn the last time. He called to follow up and let me know to wait to mow my lawn. He also told me to keep an eye out on a patch of crabgrass that he treated. He said that if it's not gone in two weeks to give him a call and he'll come out and take care of it. This is by far the best personalized service I've ever gotten from a lawn care service. Spring-Green is the best. Thanks for all you do to help my lawn look its best. read more

Spring-Green lawn care has done a great job with our lawn. We live on what I call a weed and bug farm and it's hard keeping down the weeds. We have probably close to one and a half to two acres sprayed and I'd have a hard time finding a weed. It's greened up very well also. read more

If no stars were allowed that is what I would put. This company does not do as they state, I had to sign a contract, they showed up once, never returned until they sent a survey on their service and I rated them a 0. Called to cancel the contract, the gal said 'they should have been back long before now'. They are happy to cancel contract, lose business with no second thought. On a 90 degree day why is a lawn care service showing up to spray for weeds, they could not even answer why they showed up. Would not recommend them to anyway, go with a company that provides service for a contract you sign. read more
