Looks like come by and just put a little sign gave me partial refund after what was suppose to be 1 full service then 3 reservices which they charged me for reservices should be on the company not on the client. It never took care of my weed problems. I hired someone else too. read more

Terrible results after a years treatment. More weeds than when they started. My lawn looks horrible. I deserve my money back to use it to have someone else fix it!! Customer service will leave you on the phone for half an hour. read more

Peoria, IL TruGreen Review - I gave them 1 full season before I made a review (after we called and voiced our displeasure previously) and our yard is still full of weeds. The last time we called the person on the phone didn't believe us when we said we had weeds all over still... so I took these pictures yesterday, 9/19/17 before I mowed (in pictures). Absolutely unacceptable for this kind of weed growth after a full season of "spraying". We definitely won't be using them again. read more

They said 50 the first application then 77 each application there after. Then proceeded to charge 155 on second visit without asking because of two applications in one visit. Apparently grub control is a secret no one talks about until they want to charge you a one time application for the season. read more

Our grass and trees have improved a lot over the last year with TruGreen. I am hopeful that this year I will have the perfect lawn and trees that I dream about. They are very nice and professional people. read more

Is there a negative rating I can give them? They are the worst Customer Service I have ever experienced. Long story short, they withdrew over $500 for services I NEVER approved. I can't get a Manager to call me to issue a refund and their Customer service team hung up on me. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!! read more

Weeds after service. Was suppose to get free service 10/15/2021. Had notice on my e-mail that they had looked at the yard and applied nothing. I was not home or I would have shown him the weeds and crabgrass. They left no notice as they say they will. I am very displeased with most of the service. I am really angry now since they probably did not even walk the yard. If he had, he would have had no trouble seeing the crabgrass and other weeds. I hope for their sake they come back. I have all copies of their intends and their lies. I will be turning them into the Illinois Attorney General. I took care of my previous lawn myself and it was beautiful. Just thought since I moved I would let someone else do it for me. TruGreen has a bad reputation but I was assured they would keep it nice. Far from it. Don't ever give TruGreen a chance on your yard. read more

I would give TruGreen a negative star if possible. 8 weeks ago they started a lawn program in which they would, after 5 weeks, aerate our yard and over seed. However no one showed after 6 weeks. We called TruGreen and were told a manager would call in 2-3 days, but no one did. We called back and again were told that we would be contacted. And again, no one called. Do not use TruGreen! This franchise doesn't care about it's customers. read more

They have poor customer service. They left a message on Friday saying they would treat my lawn on Monday so I mowed to be ready for them. They did not show up and did not notify me they were not coming. I called Monday late and was told they were now scheduled for Wednesday, they called on Wednesday and said the gate was locked which it wasn't, I had even left it a bit open because it sticks and I didn't want them to think it was locked. I called again and they said they would send the person back out. They did not and did not call me back. I called again Thursday and they said I am now scheduled for next Wednesday. Who knows if they will show up. Very poor service and I would not recommend Trugreen for your lawn care. read more

I live in Central Illinois. I contracted TruGreen as my lawn care this year and pre-paid one year program for my lawn. This Saturday (July 14, 2018) I found my entire lawn front and back is dead. Their most recent application was on Friday (July 13, 2018). My grass was still green when they applied. I called TruGreen today (July 16, 2018) and urged them to check my lawn. The local manager told me it is not due to their chemicals. He said it is the armyworms eating my grass to dead. I don't know why I cannot attach pictures here. But there is no green at all in the lawn and I don't understand how the worms eat my lawn so completely without a shred of green. The grass is totally brown straw-like color. Even it is caused by the worms as he claimed, how could the lawn caretaker see the worms or unhealthy issues without giving me any warning, instead, just applied their chemicals anyway? I am outraged by the company's lacking of ethics when providing their service. read more

I have been a customer of TruGreen for 5 years now without any concerns. However, this summer was an odd summer where my lawn looked oddly horrible with lots of weeds and worse than most other lawns in the neighborhood. Then I figured out why, my TruGreen tech came out yesterday for a total of 5 min where he pulled up and got the hose, walked about 50 feet on the side of my house with the hose and then rolled the hose back up and put a bill on my door. I have a 5,000 square foot year that take 30 gallons of treatment for perspective. My Ring Doorbell camera captured the date/time when he arrived and my patio Ring Security Cam showed how he walked just a few feet in the back yard and then left. My last Ring Doorbell cam showed him putting a bill on my door and he was gone. I called the customer care desk who was just a cranky person who said they will come out to re-apply a treatment and tried to end the call. I told her, they never applied and I am getting ripped off. She said a supervisor will call me in three days... that was it. So rather than having my wound fester for 3 days I reached out to the main TruGreen website and filled out a form and a full day later I still have not heard from anyone. I have literally been ripped off with actual video evidence and no one is reaching out and we are now at the end of day two. Since my lawn looks horrible, and has for months, I can only conclude this was not the first time I paid $80 for something and got literally nothing but a bill. Though I was a loyal customer for 5 years, my trust was gone in 5 min... literally. Do not be a victim, find another lawn care company. read more

Horrible service along with horrible customer service. Don't even try to contact a local manager because they will not call you back. Waste of money. I was home one day they claimed they sprayed. I watched the guy just put the little tag in the lawn did not even spray lawn. But don't bother trying to call a manager cause they won't call you back. Guess they don't care if they lose customers. My yard has been full and flush. I still see some crab grass and some wild violets. But my yard is much better than previous years and I don't see an overgrowth of weeds. read more
