They were our first Philly apartment and I'm so thankful we found them, it was a wonderful experience. Our unit was well built and beautifully finished! I loved how Sergio and Corinn were quick to respond when we reached out. In addition to that, they are very understanding when it comes to any issues that arise. We were treated fairly and would recommend them to anyone looking for a place in the Philly area. Marissa and I will miss working with you, thanks for taking care of us for 3 years!

Sergio and Corinn are friendly, knowledgable, professional and the easiest people I have ever dealt with in this capacity. No matter the issue or question I had, they would respond almost immediately, and work with me, even on a Sunday evening. The apartment I rented was finished the day before I moved in, so there was no issues on the cleanliness or state of the apartment. Sergio and Corinn were in touch with me throughout the move-in and I appreciated that immensely. They also kept in touch throughout the year to check in and keep us updated for the weather conditions and such. They truly put together a clean and welcoming apartment and it was clear to me they truly wanted to make those of us who rented from them welcome. I felt bad about leaving the apartment as I knew I would miss having such a good company to work with. If you want top quality service and professionalism, take a look at Hearthfire Holdings. You can't go wrong here.

We toured Jenner's Pond Independent Living (JP) with my 84 yr old father-in-law in the spring of…read more2022. The facilities are very nice, and the food is excellent. He sold his house in May 2022 and moved into his apartment in mid-July. There is a substantial "Entrance Payment" required. Per the contract, starting on the 4th month after occupancy, JP amortizes this entrance fee at a rate of 1% per month until the 40th month and they keep that portion. After 44 months of residency, upon death or termination of the agreement, JP will return 50% of the entrance payment. My father-in-law unfortunately passed away in February 2023. Had we been involved with signing the contract, we would have discouraged him from moving into Jenner's Pond. The contract is rather vague regarding the return of the entrance fee after the resident has passed away. Residents are treated as renters and they do not own the apartment. However, per the contract, you do not receive a refund of the entrance payment until they receive a replacement entrance payment. Translation: you do not receive the refund until they re-lease the apartment. You do not have ANY control over this. The part that is vague - it is our assumption that they are still amortizing the entrance payment and will do so up until the 44 months at which point they will return 50% of it to the estate. So, there is NO motivation for them to show or re-lease the apartment. If you or a family member is considering Jenner's Pond, make sure you read the contract, understand the contract and you are willing to live with them holding on to your money.

They moved a new person into my fathers condo in October of 2013. They are telling me that they cannot settle in paying the estate of my fathers the money that they owe for amoritization fee, until the gentleman who is now living in my Fathers condo sells his home at Jenner's Pond. We call that flim flam business ethics, and double dipping. Now I have to not get on with life, not grieve on my timeline. Do not let your parents move in their. They are treating me (55 years old) like I have a problem. Hey Jenner's pond who do you think your future customers are? I will spread the word that you are pond scum.
