They have recently upgraded it and have added some new stores as well. The shortlist of stores is: Giant Foods, Ross, Marshall's, Total Wine (a necessity LOL), ABC Store (another necessity hahaha), Hobby Lobby, Verizon, Five Below, LA Fitness, Sally Beauty Supply, The Dollar Tree, Footlocker, Subway, Pizza Hut, Quickway Hibachi, Jollibee, and many many more! It is an open strip mall and has plenty of parking and good lighting at night. The only negative is that sometimes there can be a bit of a wait to exit the shopping center from either of the only two ways out, but it is what it is. Happy Shopping Peeps!

Some stores have gone down in history as a failure while others rise from the ashes to start a new history. Take the new restaurant called Jollibee. This chicken restaurant is a place I will have check out. Maybe before Becky does. Restaurants like Pizza Hut (making it great) along Subway were they make it fresh are two restaurants near the liquor store in a beautiful purple color building. If you need food, supplies or a snack, Giant Foods can help you with that. Not feeling pretty today, Sally's beauty store or the nail salon and barbershops can help you. Feeling stressed or just need to kill some time at home? Reflexology Spa, Gamestop or The Hobby Lobby stores can help you with these things. Other games like Lacrosse can be found in a store called Lacrosse Unlimited. Unfortunately this store does not have Yukon Huskies merchandise. Parking here has gotten better with the new design for the area. I don't remember when this was fixed up, but I do remember the problems arose from finding a parking spot while the construction was underway. Landmark Plaza has been around for decades and now the area is getting an enema. The landmark mall is being torn down for some "gordy monstrosity" as Ruben would say(Ocean's Eleven: Ruben's In). More housing with shops under the apartments will appear. A better look for the city of Alexandria Virginia will happen over time. Landmark Plaza has lots to offer. I think it can most certainly keep up with the times Check it out and see if there is something Rebecca and I missed.

I'll admit over the years, I've never really paid any attention to what was located in the shopping center until it underwent a face lift which actually draws your attention to the shopping center it's self as you're driving by. Whether you need to drop a package off, get some lab, looking for something to eat, or need your chompers cleaned, the shopping center provides a plethora of options to complete your to do list in one location. There is plenty of open parking and a couple of options of getting in and out of the shopping center making navigation easy.

This is an older strip mall located off a major road, surrounded by other shopping centers/areas,…read moreand is just five minutes away from Springfield Town Center Mall. This small strip houses two GAR Restaurants; GAR is an acronym for Great American Restaurants, a well-known & loved local Restaurant Group in Northern Virginia. You will find both GAR Best Buns Bakery & Stupid Good BBQ in the strip, as well as Mike's American Grill, which is a standalone building directly across the street, and oddly considered part of the Concord Shopping Center. The strip also houses Plant Fitness, Pho Golden Cow 2, Eleni's Greek Taverna, Ol El Paso Mexican Restaurant, 7-11, Aldi, Sola Salons (a group of suites with independent owners of boutique salons for hair, skin, makeup, tattoos, & more), and a few other small shops. The entrance to the parking lot is tricky and can be dangerous to navigate due to the odd traffic pattern surrounding it. The parking lot is typically busy and is old and beatup. This strip mall is somewhat rundown, not the most inviting, and could really benefit from some upgrades or just some upkeep.

The Fort Belvoir Post Exchange is the closest store I have to get needed items like household…read moregoods, office supplies, clothing, etc. Their sales can be excellent to so so. I try to keep an eye on sales. They also have free gifts with purchases on cosmetics at times. They keep it clean. I have seen some items tampered and stolen in the jewelry department. Cosmetics and perfume areas are nicely displayed and offer samples. Popular items there are bought immediately and scarce there like the seasonal Estée Lauder blockbuster gift. They only had 500 that year. By the time I went to purchase it, they were all gone. I ended up buying it elsewhere for a higher price. My favorite items to buy here are the nail products for manicures, maintenance, and to save money from going to nail salon. If I can purchase the same items at the PX from the commissary, I buy from the commissary. The prices tend to be cheaper there yet there are less options at the commissary for cosmetics and beauty. Sometimes, the prices are too expensive, so I opt for places with the same products at lower prices with the same quality. For example, you can buy bleach and a pack of stationary cards for only $1.25 at Dollar Tree with the same quality as the higher priced PX products. Customer service has ranged from good to excellent. It has mostly self service to purchase items. Coupons for items, returns, and some discounted items are rung up by sales people - the lines can be slow for this. Overall, I like the PX and have little complaints. It is clean and convenient.

And for as big as this place is, how does it feel claustrophobic inside here? Typical stores you will find in here. When I say typical, I mean typical in the sense that these are the types of stores you would find in a dying mall. However, they are thriving here. I believe that is due to the fact that these location of this place is kind of amazing. Right off a Metro line and the streets all around her are jam packed with vehicles, you have a steady flow of customers. The area kind of feels like a Times Square area with all the vendors on the sidewalk outside. Add in the multiple entrances to the Metro and the livelihood of the crowd, you get that vibe. I didn't explore every nook and cranny of those space, but I saw enough to know that it will serve a purpose for me. Quick stops on my way home could help make my days easier. It will also be a quick distraction on evenings that I am free. What a great place, for distractions

It's your regular boring strip mall, that permeates this area like the others. I have found some bargains at the Dollar Tree, although that's now technically the $1.25 Tree. The one here is solid although busy. When needing a heat lamp for my sons snakes, can get them at the Petsmart. They almost always have these in stock. Park far away if you can, although it can be difficult to find that spot.
