Real, authentic people serving others, fantastically talented singers and musicians and singers lead us in worship, and a Pastor who gives his heart and soul preaching week after week. The people who go to Northplace are so wonderful. So real. Like me. I now lead a Northplace Small Group in the community. That group has given me TWENTY friends who are like sisters, family to me. The ministry staff are all educated, loving and caring of each parishioner. Dr. Dan Jones has been Senior Minister at FCCG for 18+ yrs. His sermons are uplifting and inspirational to the congregation. I always leave with a life message to help grow stronger in my faith. The music is led by a musical educator who is well known in the music industry. The Chancel Choir is excellent. There are multiple Sunday School classes to choose from. I have especially enjoyed the Disciple Womens group which offers a chance once a month to fellowship with other Christian women. Easter, Christmas and other holidays are met with activities, learning and a special time of worship and prayer. I only wish that I had found this place of worship years and years ago. My relationship with Christ has grown in this environment. I am a happier person today because of the growth I have experienced in my faith; and the Agape love of my church family.

They do not water-down truth nor do they talk down to the listeners. They simply teach the Bible. This church isn't here to entertain you -though the music and the messages are great. What a tremendous blessing to find this church! Far too many churches get side-tracked and focus too much on their image, attracting crowds or proving how "unique" they are. Woodcreek isn't here to promote themselves, they are here to teach God's word. And they use a preaching team and preaching committee to insure you're not getting one person's take on the scripture. The senior pastor was well spoken and people were very friendly. We thought about joining and started to dive deeper into their belief structure. They are a fundamentalist church. They do not allow women to be pastors or even serve on the leadership board. They have limited women bible studies and divide the children by gender. I am born and raised Texas conservative, but come on! I cannot be a strong woman and role model to me daughters while claiming membership to this church. I understand that these patriarchal beliefs do still exist, but if you attend, you should do so being informed about what you are supporting. To their credit, they do not try to hide this and have a long description of "women in the church" on their material and website.

Different opportunities to serve at the church and be the church in the world . This location gets busy and the earlier service is recommended. Parking is efficient however spots fill up quickly. There is other parking located all around the outer parts including a garage. Everyone here is kind and welcoming. They have a bakery to fill up on coffee and snacks .
