The tasting room is beautiful, clean, and there is a ton of bar seating as well as tables, and more tables outside. Upon walking in, there's a sign to wait for the hostess to seat you. Since we came for a tasting, we were seated at the bar. We looked forward to the standard tasting (7, 3/4 oz pours), but found out once we were seated that they weren't doing those that day because they were busier earlier in the day. Instead, they offered us a flight (4, 2oz pours) for $15. However the glasses didn't have lines on them and the pours we got were significantly less than the couple next to us who were served by a different person. As far as the wines, they had a variety of sweet and dry, red and white, but I didn't find any that I loved. If I lived in the area I would definitely come back for the atmosphere, since this seems like a great space for events, or with friends since they have a large selection of wines. I also felt like the staff were helpful and friendly too.

Had a great time celebrating my sister-in-law's birthday with the Spa City Brew Bus.  We visited 3…read morewineries and a distillery around Saratoga.  The bus was spotless, driving was great (thanks, Bruce!), music was great.  Hoj is a super host.  He's very knowledgeable about the process of making wine, beer and spirits, so he is able to create relationships with local producers.  That enabled us, for example, to get a private vineyard tour with the vintner.  The vintner took us on a field tour while we drank the wine from the grapes we were looking at up close in the field.  Thankfully, none of the vineyards were pretentious.  Everything (and everyone) was very down-to-earth which let everyone focus on what they liked rather than what they were *supposed* to like. I've never been on a vineyard tour bus before, but I would totally do it again.

Feel free to bring your own food including cheese and crackers, or sweet confections to pair with the wines. Our three favorites were the maple wine, the St. Croix, and the ruby red. The apple and peach wines are also very unique and flavorful. The winery specializes in cold-weather varietals, and whether you are a fan of sweet or dry wines you will likely find something that hits the spot.

Very professional, listened to what we wanted, then took us to three wineries that were fantastic. Each winery had its own unique character and the wines were spot on, as well the spirits in the last one we went to. Donovan's van was very clean, well air conditioned, and had all the amenities needed to go from one winery to the next. He's very knowledgeable of the area, well prepared, and an all around fun and great guy. He picked us up at our hotel at Marriott Courtyard Poughkeepsie and after the tour dropped us off at the Beacon Train station it really worked out very well. Either they didnt communicate in a timely fashion, or they showed up in dirty cars, or they showed up late, or drivers were just plain unsafe. Alliance took the time to explain to me the processes they took to ensure that the cars were on time, drivers safe, and cars beyond the usual clean that is expected. When they arrived I was blown away. The car looked like they had just picked it up from the showroom floor. The best part for me was that they were not only on time but in fact early! The driver was professional and safe and didnt mind our change of plans that altered our route. Without question Alliance is who I will continue to use for any time I need car service. I frequently refer friends, family, and colleagues to the service and those that have used Alliance have all said the same about the service that I have.
