Consequently here we are! I came, I tried it, I came back home... and here I am... The staff are very friendly, and very welcoming when you come in. After ordering, for the first time I was asked if I wanted to add any extra toppings. Seriously, a lot of places offer this service, but rarely are you ever asked about it. You may think it's a small thing, but it stuck in my mind. The wait time felt a little long, but I did go at a busy time. When the pizza arrived it was amazing. The drive home was a hard one, and biting into the pizza, the first thing I noticed was the dough. What did they do to the dough? It's magnificent! Maybe they did nothing, maybe it was supplied to them that way. Either way, it was really good. The toppings were plentiful and the cheese was nice. The sauces used had a bit of bite to them, just the way I like it. It was recommended to me, and I recommend it to you too.

Well check out the mascot for this store. He doesn't look too dissimilar to Jabber Jaws. Anyway, with that out of the way, how is this chicken shop? Well it's not bad. It's a friendly little place with some lovely staff. The lack of decent salad selection was a bit disappointing for me, but then again we all have different tastes. Maybe you won't have a problem with what's there. That is however the only gripe I have. The prices are pretty decent and the range is what you'd expect from a chicken shop. While there's nothing to really set it apart from the competition, I actually really like this place. I'm struggling to think why though... Maybe it's Jabber Jaws, maybe it's the friendly staff, who's to say. Maybe it's a combination. Regardless it's a place I recommend. It's not a bad little chicken shop.

I have a few options, but when I'm in Hollywood Plaza I tend to gravitate towards Yiros King. Like most yiros places they offer yiros wrapped or on the plate, but their prices are pretty good. I like to order my yiros on the plate, and while you pay more for it, it's nice to be able to make a mess on your plate by putting together your own yiros, eating it, then scooping up the leftover meat and salad you couldn't fit into your tortilla. Yiros is becoming one of my staple meals when I'm out and they sure do make a good yiros at Yiros King.

For those who haven't experienced an AB, it's basically a tray of chips with yiros meat on top and then sauce. Hollywood BBQ Chicken have all the usual staples offered by a chicken shop. You have chicken rolls, hot packs, quarter chickens and chips. You know the score by now. It's their take on the AB that sets them apart. The initial formula is the same: chips, with yiros meat and sauces. The main differences are in the meat and sauces. The meat just tastes different. It's hard to explain, but it's very pleasant. The sauces are strong and punchy and leave a nice aftertaste. There's not much special about the rest of the menu. It's the same sort of stuff you'd get anywhere, which isn't a bad thing! Don't get me wrong! The ABs however are definitely worth the try!

However, that certainly goes get points for originality, particularly since it actually tasted quite noice. Mind you, I wouldn't consider this to be one of the most authentic Vietnamese places that I have been to, but it is certainly different, and in a pretty good way at that.
