I've been involved with the Deer Valley Community Center programs for some time, and while it used…read moreto be a great place for kids and families, unfortunately things have taken a step backward recently. * New rules and policies have been implemented that seem to take away from what once made the program strong. * The focus doesn't appear to be on true player development, but rather on accommodating complaints from parents. * Leadership does not seem receptive to constructive feedback, nor do they incorporate changes based on input from coaches or families. This is disappointing because the center has so much potential and has historically provided a positive environment. Hopefully, the program will take feedback more seriously and return to prioritizing growth, fairness, and development for all players.

The Goelet A.C. Beuf Community Center is located on 35th Ave. & Pinnacle Peak Road. The indoor track is free to walk and is air conditioned - bonus for those walkers who dread the summer heat. Use of the gym is at a cost - I think around $60 for the year, so it's pretty inexpensive but the gym is pretty small. They offer a variety of fitness/dance classes, at a cost, including: aerobics, ballet, belly dance, kickboxing, pilates and yoga + many more. They also offer specialty education classes including: oil painting, computers and spanish. I have taken a few of the classes and they are pretty inexpensive and last for a few months at a time - either once or twice weekly. It seems that they offer a lot of classes and activities for kids and seniors as well. Other amenities include indoor basketball court, softball fields, soccer field, basketball and volleyball courts, playgrounds, and picnic areas. The center is always clean and the staff is incredibly helpful. If in or close to the neighborhood this is a great community center to have access to.

They are light stalkers or psychic vampires and she lives in her van and sells sage bundles at your venue and also at the Creative Life Center. She hit me up for counseling and healing for 5 hours and then went on the Clifford Mahooty for two days. Also there was a lady who hit me up to register to vote at the Centers and also out in a private business. You should keep a look out for these disrupters intruding upon your space/business and accosting your event goers.

I cannot compare this community center to others in Scottsdale, but it does remind me a bit of a community center where I grew up in Michigan and brings back many warm memories. But for the price Flagstaff charges to use the Aquaplex, it is a wonderful place. There are exercise classes that are run by great teachers. Really feel welcome and all levels seem to enjoy. I do not use the childcare but I do see that it is a great option for parents to have their kids in a safe place and get quality care for their children. I don't know what it cost (I'm sure you can call the Aquaplex and find out the cost) but there are a lot of people that use this service that it usually full when I'm in the place. I think it's great to have the kids in an exercise environment running around and swimming rather than have them looking at a screen. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. I find them a real pleasure to interact with. I have been able to ask questions and the staff and managers are quick to help. Parking is abundant and easy to get in and out of the Aquaplex.
