I don't know anything about this office other than my COVID-19 test, so that's the only thing I'm…read moreattesting to. I received a COVID-19 test the morning of June 24th, it took about an hour and a half which I completely understood because it was busy and I was a new patient. The nurses were nice, I was grateful, etc. Times are hard, let's be gracious. The office clearly communicated to me that I would receive a call with positive or negative results in 3-4 days (not business days, just days). 5 days comes around so I call the office several times with no answer and no voicemail option. 6 days passes with no call once again, so I repeat the process. I called Colonial Healthcare 27 times to be met with no one and was put on hold for just under an hour before I gave up. I have a coworker and a roommate who were both tested DAYS AFTER ME at Prisma Downtown and received their results in 1 and 2 days, respectively. So this was clearly an outlier of delayed results. At the very least, I could have been communicated with that my results were delayed for whatever reason. Called, or emailed, or at least answered my calls or had a voicemail option available! I know things are hard and I feel terrible for even writing this because I have so much love and respect for healthcare workers, but for YOUR own safety and peace of mind, I would not recommend getting COVID testing done here whatsoever. Drive a little further and go somewhere else with good turnaround results. I'm unable to tell my work or my roommates if I have exposed them or not. I'm fortunate I can work from home while I self isolate to be extra cautious, but you may not be able to.

I reached out to the office via phone and my chart messaging regarding communicating my results via phone due to circumstances that prevents me from an in person follow up. I have communicated my circumstances several times. I received a response Today from a supervisor who informed me that a phone call is not acceptable. When was communicating via phone not acceptable? I received my results and I understand them. Where is the empathy and understanding? Customer service? I understand the preference for an in person visit but that does not work for me and that was communicated several times. A 7am appointment does not work as well due to school bus schedule. This is not a fight I wish to have with my new provider. My health is very important to me, this experience is a very bad one for me. Taking a hard stance as opposed to be accommodating and helpful is not a good approach at all.

This week the pharmacy began calling them on Tuesday and I called them on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to request two refills. I also left voice messages and messages on their Epic system MyChart. They close at 1:00 on Fridays but I still have not heard from them so it will be next Monday at the earliest before the medicine can be refilled. So I will go at least 5 days without my medicines before they are refilled.

I also assume…read morehis nurse because I did not see her.I was told I had to be seen in office to get prior Authorization for MRI because of pain worse in back and right leg weak. Was having a difficult time walking so did not know if a disc had herniated or what was going on. Afraid to do any stretching etc did not want to make things worse. Did not get the authorization and asked nurse when I talked to her could I make the appointment, do not know that nurse. She worked with Savannah. I did not make any appointments with hospital because I know Dr Frampton Henderson or his nurse Josie took care of that then called me when everything was approved. I then called my insurance Company and they had no records of anyone from Providence Family Practice contacted them on my behalf. I am not trained in what you do to get this information because I've never done it.My insurance Company UHC called my Drs off to ask the person about the prior authorization while I was on hold and they said and I quote, what do you need from me . She told me no one has ever made that comment to her. She reported it to a person at UHC. She told them what was needed then got back on phone with me and said she would call me in a week to make sure everything was taken care of. NO, I have gotten nothing, a call or letter informing me I was approved for the MRI. She said I will call you back in a couple days and I said NO. I could not explain all of this to Dr Frampton Henderson over the phone so have to wait two more weeks for my regular checkup The sheet she gave me when I left showed level 4 because she, Savanna said took extra time. I did not need my ear checked or my throat that day? I started going to Dr Henderson when he first started practicing. Now he is semi--retired. When he does retire, if I can't get in with his son will change doctors. I have been so stressed out over all of this. My friend that just had MRI we both worked for same Company. She received letter in a week showing she was approved for her test. she said that her doctors office was so efficient. I told her mine used to be and I had never had this happen to me until the new people came in. When you deal with pain every day and then get stressed out with people that don't know what they're doing. It's so upsetting. I did not feel like going that day to begin with and now it's going on three weeks and I have gotten nothing from Providence family practice. Also my insurance company as I said talked with them and it did no good because they didn't know what they needed to do according to the person with UHC after she spoke with office person. Savannah Q wanted me to find a neurosurgeon but will wait on Dr Frampton Henderson to get recommendations. I have done all the work trying to get this MRI.

The little one wasn't feeling the best and asked if auntie could be the one to take her for a wellness visit. Unable to say no we hopped in the car for a same day visit. Upon arrival I was promptly greeted by the friendly staff and completed the covid questionnaire. There was a very minimal wait before we were called. Again staff was great, everything was thoroughly explained. Even caution was giving for cost that may not be covered by insurance. When final decision required parental approval there was no push back when I called my sister (the mom) and asked that details were explained. It was actually a giggle amongst us all. Nice family friendly practice. Just A Note: Be mindful of your fragrance choice prior to arrival. "STAFF HAS SPECIFIC NEGATIVE REACTION TO EGYPTIAN MUSK OIL/FRAGRANCE. PLEASE DO NOT WEAR."
