Dr. Koo to me is a soft-spoken, well-articulated dentist and a heartfelt individual that truly cares about her patients. I say this in all honesty that I was a little scared of going back to the dentist in the Carrollton area because every time that I go to the dentist I get sick. Not the snuffles sick but full-blown sick, where you contemplate how amazing life is not being sick and how you would do anything to not be ill. That being said, I'm a bit of a clean freak and care a lot about how clean a dentist office is with the spread of bacteria and viruses. Dr. Koo's office is immaculately clean and I have now been there more than 4 times. A staff member of Dr. Koo's named Su, is an amazing dental assistant that is constantly cleaning and changing her gloves when having to go back and forth to get supplies for Dr. Koo to even preparing for the next patient with making sure that no one will ever get sick and ensuring everything will run smoothly not for just Dr. Koo but me as well. As for the main reason for coming to New Bite Dentistry beside a dental cleaning is that I tend to grind my teeth at night, and chipping and breaking of my teeth happens a lot. Dr. Koo helped explain every W (Who, What, When, Where, and Why) she is fixing it, with how to prevent it. Dr. Koo was not in a hurry and wanted me to fully understand everything and that she won't cut any corners to waste my time or hers. I am writing this lengthy review in that I have been to more than 4 dentists in the last 2 years, and New Bite Dentistry is more than above par. Dr. Koo and her staff are not just clean freaks but perfectionist as well, in that they are always making sure they are on the same page. Not to mention how they communicate, laugh, and how easy they make everything seem with their chemistry that creates an inviting environment. New Bite Dentistry strives to be more than their best and you can see it every time you step in the door. Dr. Koo and her staff helped reinsure that my family and I are in good hands and that I won't become ill, be roll me over for my money and have a new family dentist office for a long time coming. The best he will offer is to redo the fillings and "will probably lead to root canal and crown." I had four fillings done by Nishit and all four failed the following month. I told him when he finished the fillings that when he used the floss it cut the floss. He said it was nothing to worry about and that he would make any touch ups for free when I come in a month later for cleaning. I said ok and brought it up again first thing when I came back for my cleaning a month later. The AI scan of my teeth confirmed the new fillings had all failed.
