Amazing vet. After dealing with another vet agency for the first year and a half of our life with…read moreour little frenchie and thinking they were decent we ended up switching to Gladwyne animal hospital and we are truly impressed and thrilled with their service. A couple months and a few visits later for various little issues and we have observed that not only are they clean and caring, but our little guy is so good when in their hands compared to the other vet we went to. These people are dog whisperers! Forward a few months...After a scary weekend in the emergency vet hospital we engaged Gladwyne Care...four days in and he was finally home with some unknown internal severe inflammation cause (we suspect a reaction to wasp stings) . The doctors and technicians were wonderful and caring and followed up regularly with updates when he was there and check ins when he was home. Despite losing 25% of his body weight in 5-6 days during the ordeal, the care given at GAH has him recovered and on track to being his normal happy spaz lover boy self. A month and a half later he is our boy and as wild and silly as ever! I couldn't ask for a more responsive and thoughtful team to take care of our little boy. Highly recommend this vet!

We moved to the area not long ago, and when we moved we honestly weren't sure our boy was going to be making the move with us, let alone thriving and running around and playing with toys. We were also worried that we would be directed to see a number of specialists. Dr. Sutor reviewed his whole case -- hundreds of pages of records from his primary vet, his internal medicine specialist, and his dermatologist... and long story short, the dog who was maybe not going to survive in April is thriving in August. Thank you, thank you Dr. Sutor and team for such individualized, thought out, incredible care. ~ Cubby, Murphy & Family

I am very disappointed with the lack of communication I have received from Rox Falls Vet. I took my…read morecat there back in October because he seemed slightly off, and I was told that he has pillow foot. After the initial appointment and paying over $800 for them to run labs to diagnose the issue, he was put on medication (which was $50 +1 month supply). The follow-up appointment was a few weeks later and went fine, but it was $93 for that visit. I was instructed to keep him on the medication for a few more weeks and to schedule another follow-up, so I had to place a refill for the medication for another $50. When it came time for the next follow-up appointment, we had to get lab work done again to check his progress, and this was right before Thanksgiving. I asked if I could now taper him off the medication and was told to wait until the lab results came back, but due to the holiday, it might be delayed and I should hear back by Monday 12/1. This visit cost $285. December 1 came and went, so I reached out on 12/3 to follow up on the results. I was told, "As soon as those results are received, Dr. Theresa will be reaching out to communicate them to you." A week and a half passed with no word. I reached out again on 12/11 and was told, "I apologize for the delay on this--I'm checking in on this with Gizmo's care team for you." Again, there was no further response after that, so I reached out once more today and am still waiting to hear back. His medication is also due for renewal again, which means another $50. These visits are not cheap and add up quickly, but paying over $1300 within seven weeks with no response for three weeks and counting after the last visit is unacceptable. I don't understand how anyone can run a business, especially in the medical field, with such poor communication. I'm starting to have a lack of confidence in the doctors at this facility because all they do is recommend more tests but can't even deliver results.

My kitty has some special needs that require us to bring him in on a regular basis. The front desk staff, nurse staff, and doctors are all kind and show interest in your pet. They've always talked me through every step of treatment and are constantly reassessing his treatment plan as new information comes in. They are a bit on the pricy side, but I think it is worth it. I don't see them cut corners in staffing, care, or cleanliness so I am willing to pay that premium price. They are also open 7 days a week and have the ability to fill most Rx in house, which makes things so much easier for us.

The staff was wonderful and very transparent about pricing the process and heard all my concerns and answered silly questions as this is my first cat! They gave me a list of emergency numbers and called me the next morning to follow up. Despite what ever issues my cat is having, I felt much calmer and prepared having visiting this vet clinic! Highly recommend.

I am writing this review because I firmly believe I was taken advantage of. I have owned dogs for…read moreyears and have visited multiple veterinarians, so I fully understand how policy and standard care typically work. What happened here was unacceptable. I brought my dog in on Wednesday and paid $145, only to be told to put him on a bland diet. Fine. They called the next day to follow up, and I informed them that his symptoms had improved however he didn't poop . I was told to monitor him until the next day and that if the issue continued, I should bring him back -- especially since they would be closed over the weekend. The following day, I called again because nothing had changed. They told me to bring him in for a follow-up.asked if i could come right now because they were closing in an hour and again was closed on weekends I did exactly that. After the vet checked him and confirmed he was fine, I was hit with another $115 charge within 48 hours for the SAME issue. That is unreasonable and absolutely feels like a money grab. I have been to Penn Vet Hospital and other reputable clinics, and if you return within 48 hours for the same issue, you are NOT charged another initial fee. That is standard practice and basic customer service -- something this clinic clearly lacks. To make matters worse, the manager, Janelle, was combative, dismissive, and showed zero understanding or empathy. Her attitude alone would keep me from ever returning. Because of this experience, I will never return to this clinic and will strongly discourage others from going as well. Charging clients twice in 48 hours for the same issue is unacceptable, unethical, and shows where their priorities truly are -- and it's not with the animals or the owners.
