They thought of everything, even an adjoining IHOP. The coffee and soda fountains seem to offer endless options. The pre-made salads and hot items like sausage on a stick and kolaches looked fresh. The ladies restroom only has four stalls, but they were clean and there was not a line when I was there. There is a baby-changing-station that appeared clean. After passing Kim's several times during our active weekend, I am glad we stopped to fill up on our way out of the area. This will be one of our stops on future visits to Pittsburg and Mt. Pleasant.

I was trying to use the wheelchair ramp in order for my wheelchair to go inside the building but…read morethere was a white SUV parking on the ramp stripped off area blocking the whole ramp‼ The Freedom Vapes employees saw that I couldn't get up the ramp so they literally ran over to every other business around to see if they could find the owner of the SUV but the owner wasn't even on the property!! So, I was amazed at how much the Freedom Vapes employees and the new restaurant named LuLu's Pizza& Grillnext door to them cared about me to as a person who counts in this world!! The LuLu's owners searched all over their new restaurant for materials to make me a ramp to get up on the sidewalk to be able to get in Freedom Vapes‼To which at the time it was their dinner time so they had a lot of their own customers to help so I can't THANK THEM ENOUGH‼But before I was leaving the tow truck driver had just picked it up & bam the owner of this Donut Shopshowed up in another car full of her family members & she started throwing a fit in Chinese so her daughter translated to the tow driver to drop her SUV that she was the legal owner of that handicapped parking spot‼But by this time my disease flared up& was attacking my body due to all of the stress‼So my mom jumped that owners ass since she was being a total Bittowards myself & my mom‼Her family kept explaining that they were sorry but then out of nowhere the owner started yelling in ENGLISH after they said she didn't know it‼I will NEVER SPEND ONE PENNY at this Donut Shop after the way she acted towards not only myself but my mom, Freedom Vape employees & that poor tow truck told to drop her SUV even though it was parked in a handicapped lane & all of the work the poor guy had to do to get it hooked up the right hat everyone boycott this Don cn't even how she treats people whom are handicpped‼

The amount of sugar in most name brand peanut butter is too much, and this sugar free variety is wonderful - the taste of simple, fresh peanuts. Other varieties are good, too. I also liked the walnut and date peanut butter. There are also loads of other peanut products- peanut brittle (plain and jalapeño), candy, and so much more. Definitely worth a visit if you even remotely like peanuts in any form.

Made a run here because it's closer than Jefferson, TX from where me and friends were staying at Wilkes Lake over Memorial Day weekend...needed to replenish the adult beverage stockpile...If you're toward the northern end of Lake of the Pines this location would make the ideal stop as well... Well stocked inventory with surprising quality offerings in the extensive Spirits selection...also a well stocked Beer and Wine inventory for a place you'll blow right by if you're not paying attention as you head west from Avinger... The really cool thing about my stop was meeting and talking with the owner (I'm not going to insult him by trying to spell his name cause I know I'll mess it up)...he was a very gracious and friendly man who had immigrated from Cambodia at some point in the 80's and me and my buddy got into a discussion with him about Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Burma and Vietnam...particularly the withdrawal of the US which allowed the Khmer Rouge to seize control of Cambodia...during our talk/history lesson we learned he had been a prisoner/slave of the Khmer Rouge from 1975 to 1979 before he was able to escape...that was some powerful stuff!!! He was very matter of fact about his experience and his fortune to immigrate to the US and be a small business owner...very proud of his success, as well he should be!! And even though this weekend was a celebration of Memorial Day and the sacrifices of American military men and women; standing in this little liquor store discussing Near Eastern(?) military history with him and hearing his story of war, struggle, immigration and success was a VERY PROFOUND experience for me and my buddy!! If you find yourself in the Avinger - Ore City area and in need of adult libations I strongly urge you to bring your business to Big Red's...he'll have what you're thirsty for at prices comparable to any other liquor store in the area.
