Apartment complex said there was nothing they could do and just call the police to report. Parking- Good luck ever finding a parking place, the spots, the street, and anywhere else is taken all the time. Construction- I found so many rusty nails on my balcony that I couldn't use it any more. Door knobs feel off, fan chains fell off, and the entire apartment felt like it would collaspe at any minute. Management- The worst people ever! They don't respond to your questions or concerns and once you move in they don't feel like you deserve the time of day. I would fax, email, call, and leave Facebook messages with no responses. All in all you can find much nicer houses to rent for far less money. If you're not an underage college student getting drunk by the pool they don't have any interest in working with you. Save your money and frustration and find another place to live. I couldn't even stick it out for a full year here and I never got a good nights sleep.

Called back to check the next month and wasn't on any list. I asked again if they could add me to a list, so they said I was now on that list. Called back the next month, apparently I wasn't on the priority list and had to fill out another form and place a deposit. Now, after some consideration, I tried calling to get off their list and get a return on my deposit. Over the past 2 weeks I have called them 3 times with no response.

Unfortunately, beyond that, it falls far short of the "luxury" moniker it's given itself, especially after TLC (a local management company) began managing it this spring. Finishes and appliances are cheap, like the cabinetry, which is made of particleboard with a thin veneer that flakes off easily. The communal rooftop sun deck is full of rotten patio furniture, and all the plants and shrubbery there are dead. Elevators, hallways and other common areas are frequently dirty or smelly. If you report it to Management, it will typically be cleaned up within a day or two, but the idea of proactively inspecting these common areas for cleanliness on a regular basis apparently escapes them. The town square, where the building is located, is a hotspot for vagrants that sometimes camp out around the doorway and have been known to harass or panhandle residents or their guests. They also fight among themselves nearly every night, and some clatter up and down the sidewalks on skateboards until well after midnight. Additionally, just this past week, the local news reported that a young man was jumped and severely beaten by a group of thugs in the parking garage that is adjacent to the building and where some residents park. Ear-splitting noise from motorcycles and "hot rods" takes place nearly every night as misfits have turned the square into their own playpen for racing and general mayhem.

The 5th landlord needed me to move into…read moreanother one of his apartments..HAS transfered me to another unit extremely quick..wow..they made this venture extremely quick & easy for me..I know they're backlogged & I was expecting it to take much longer. With all these investors buying properties up & making everyone vacate when their lease is up is reaking havioc at HAS & on renters. I was very grateful my landlord kept me, this doesn't happen very often with these investors. I am beyond thankful for my case worker in HAS for getting me in quickly, getting everything done quickly & surprising me with good news. My venture is over for the time being, but please be patient with these ladies & gents at HAS....they are back logged trying to get each & every one of us settled. I think their question to home or apartment owers should be "Do you plan on selling this property to an investor anytime soon? lol... Thank ya'll for making this year end on a good note! They got their $130 application fee & I was approved immediately, but it went down hill from there. I was moving from out of town, so timing was critical. It took them 2 weeks to send the lease to me via email, which were not the terms that the leasing agent had described (like a bait & switch?). I emailed with questions (at this point it's two weeks from my planned move in date) and 5 days passed with no reply. Thank God I listened to my gut and went with a different property.
