Whenever I had an issue with the apartment, which was rare, the management company quickly took care of it. They always let me know what the problem was, and when to expect a fix if extended service was needed. The grounds were always well kept - especially when it snowed. The crew was out there first thing in the morning and several times during the storm plowing/shoveling. The management company was also very friendly and very professional - they always called to ask my permission to enter the apartment, and was always prompt in their response to any inquiries I had. I really enjoyed living there and will miss it!

First, they only assign 1 reserved parking space for a 2-BR apartment and for the even # buildings, the lot is behind the buildings and the driveway to come out to the street is hidden. Cars are parked along the street so you can't see when you try to pull out (causing accidents). If you park on the street you have to pay $400/year to the city for overnight parking. If I'd had more time to look into these things I would not have moved to this complex.

In hindsight this was a huge mistake on my end. The next curveball was getting the Comcast package they insist you have here running. I was on the phone with Comcast for almost 4 hours my first night since it became clear that there was only one viable cord connection for either wifi or cable in my apartment and the other three cords were not working. The next curveball was finding out that I was stuck living underneath a couple with a toddler and another baby on the way (something I might have found out about sooner if I had seen the apartment before signing the lease). My first few days were full of being woken up either in the middle of the night to the sound of crying or at 5:30 am to the sounds of footsteps (not just full on stomping). The apartment walls and floors are very poorly insulated. When I reached out to the office to ask about the rules about noise and if there are quiet hours, I was superficially told about how "everyone has the right to enjoy their apartment" and the neighbors would be told to watch their noise. I was also told that if I complained again, however, I would have to supply a video recording as proof of the noise. My neighbors are still loud a month into me being here and I do not have the energy to engage in a back and forth cycle with the noise complaints. So some feedback for management includes: do not say an apartment is going to be available if the potential resident is not going to be able to see it before they move in, have Comcast service empty apartments if you keep making the technology package mandatory, insulate the floors and walls better, and try not to make new residents feel like they are just another number.

When I stopped paying rent after multiple attempts to get an apology from them and filing a complaint to the HUD for the unfair treatment, they filed for an eviction after 5 days of the complaint. They filed an eviction when I was "late" for 2 weeks of rent. Mostly 3+ months of late rent. It was a retaliation. They did not file an eviction for any other tenants for just 2 weeks of late rent. I pulled out all their eviction records. They are currently under HUD investigation for discrimination and retaliation. They retaliated against us utill the day we moved out. I am suffering from PTSD, depression, and anxiety attacks due to their cruel treatments towards our family. They called the police on me multiple times and lied to the police. I am 5'1" Korean lady. I was not a threat to them at all. I will walk into the office and they would call the police. I have videos of their concierges yelling at me because I was on their blacklist. Check back later and mostly likely my review will be gone because they will delete it. They delete honest reviews and write fake reviews. I wrote reviews before and they keep deleting them. I waited over a year to write again.

For months, I dealt with repeated plumbing failures affecting both showers in my unit. The showers would start with pressure and then quickly become unusable. Maintenance opened the wall and even replaced a mixing valve, but the issue kept returning. After multiple visits and weeks of disruption, the actual "fix" ended up being simply replacing the shower heads -- meaning the prior invasive work never addressed the real cause. During this period I went weeks without reliable use of basic shower facilities, despite submitting repeated maintenance requests and written notices. Every step required constant follow-ups and documentation just to get basic issues addressed. After all of this, management eventually offered a $250 credit for months of disruption and loss of essential facilities. I formally requested a reasonable rent abatement consistent with New Jersey tenant habitability standards and provided detailed documentation of the issues and timeline. Management has since stopped responding entirely. Tenants should expect working plumbing and a responsive management team when issues arise. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here. If you're considering moving here, I strongly recommend asking current tenants about their experiences with maintenance response and issue resolution before signing a lease.
