Stopped here on our way back to Dallas from gainesville. $5 for a gallon of raw milk, can't beat that! First thing I did after reaching home was boil some milk and enjoy a cup of fresh milk, it was perfect! Just like the milk from childhood. I made lots of yogurt and made cultured butter and buttermilk. Yum! It's next to impossible to churn butter from store bought homogenized milk. They also have flavored milk, free range eggs, cream, spices, jams etc. Pay by honor system. Prices are written on the products and on the cooler. Choose your products, write in the log and leave cash or pay through PayPal/venmo. No credit cards. Exit 191 on I-35. You should be able to see a cow atop a tractor and the country store is right next to it in a house. read more

Can't even begin to express my gratitude for their raw milk. It is only $5 a gallon and they have half gallons as well. Check for cream too We stopped in and met Danny- the owner, and his beautiful daughter. They have raw milk, cheese, eggs, canned produce, sausage, bacon, beef patties, desserts and there is ice to pack it in for the ride home. Danny graciously took me out to see his cows and chickens. He milks right there on the spot so it is fresh fresh fresh! Pay by the honor system, prices are listed on the fridge, open 24 hours. I found this farm source on the Weston Price Foundation as a source for raw milk. I emailed Laine (wife) and she wrote right back, giving directions etc. It's right off I-35 easy to find.
